[Resolved]  Puravankara Provident Cosmo City Chennai — CAR PARKING not provided as promised

Address:Chennai, Tamil Nadu

I bought an apartment on Aug 5, 2010 from Provident Housing ltd (A wholly owned subsidiary of PURAVANKARA Group). Provident Housing booked an apartment for me in C34 block. They charged me 1, 20, 000 rupees for car parking reservation. They asked to pay 85% as per the project development plan, which was paid on time. However the project got delayed due to some reasons and i received the apartment only on 1st December 2013. I also need compensation for the project delay. Moreover, Provident housing is providing car parking at a remote place outside the premises, which is ridiculous. I plan to move to consumer court and take legal action against Provident Housing ltd and PURAVANKARA (who promised me to provide car parking. PROVIDENT Housing ltd must provide car parking in front of the apartment. If they cannot provide car parking then they need to refund entire amount with 24% interest P.A. Based on the promise of car parking i bought this apartment. Now this is ridiculous if they dont give car parking in front of my apartment. I will challenge this in consumer court.

I am also a victim of cosmo city open car park for the same issue. let me know if you have approached consumer court
I am also a viCtim
Even I also purchased an apartment in Phase - III during the year 2010. Provident housing not yet handed over this apartment and completed only 85% of the work. Works are not happened for last one year and to my surprise I heared that the contractors M/s. BL Kashyap has been signed out from the project due to the reason that Provident not paid their dues on time. Sources said that there will not be any further progress for next couple of months.

They made a big mistake during the year 2009-10 and sold extra car parks @ Rs.150000/- and now coming up with an option of alloting the car parks outside the premises for their own mistake. The funny thing is all these promises were delivered by Mr. Madhu - Managing Director of the company and he is removed by the management from his services during the last month.

Provident will not honour their committment always. I feel that i made a big mistake of booking the apartment in cosmocity during 2010.

No Rental Value, NO Resale Value what a great project?

The interesting part is after doing all the above mistakes Provident representative Mr. Kamal is approaching the existing clients to generate the leads for their Phase 4 project which costs Rs.38.50 Lakhs whereas the resale flat itself is Rs.28.00 Lakhs.

Great Business tactics of Provident and Mr. Kamal.
