Redbox Courier And Cargo Pvt Ltd. — Franchise fraud | |||||
Hello, My name is Gautam Talukdar. Address- Abhayapuri. Pin-783384. District- Bongaigaon. State- Assam. I took a distributor franchise from RedBox Courier & Cargo PVT LTD and I have signed the agreement on 3rd November 2016. Due to the agreement I have paid Rs.15, 000 in RedBox courier's HDFC Bank A/C No- [protected] via NEFT from my SBI A/C No-[protected]. But after that I came to know that there is not even any district hub of RedBox courier in Bongaigaon District. According to company rules distributor franchisees must have to work under their district hub as district hubs works under state hub. So how can I issue a courier without the support of district hub. I called the RedBox courier and they told me to send courier to Guwahati state hub. But I told them that there is not any direct transport service from Abhayapuri to Guwahati. Even Guwahati is in Kamrup District and I am from Bongaigaon District and its not fair to a distributor to send packages to state hub or other district hub. I told everything RedBox courier company. But they always give an excuse that its dinner time or our madam is taking dinner or something like that. They just ignored my problem. Even they didn't tell me a simple fact like how to issue a courier, how much the courier charges, how i can earn my profit, what to talk to a customer, how many places or pincodes that RedBox courier service is available. Absolutely nothing. They just took my money and didn't provide me any service or help as I deserve as a distributor franchise. Even they told me that e-commerce is also available in RedBox Courier. But its not. They lied everything to me. So, now I just want to handover the distributorship and my 15, 000 rupees back. I have also talked to the RedBox State Hub in Guwahati and they also told me that RedBox is seems to be a fraud company and they have also lost 50, 000 rupees for the State hub. All thanks to RedBox Courier and Cargo private limited. They are just fraud. Please help me. I am not a reach person and I want my money back. Was this information helpful? | |||||

Redbox have more than 300 cases pending from like 2 years. Their deadline was in 2016 and now their agreement is void. I paid 15000 rs and never heard from them again. I asked for refund and they said they cannot refund me because of some terms and conditions. I filed a case and sued them for fraud, I was lucky to have a good lawyer and they paid 250000 as penalty and my 15000 RS. I paid the 250000 to the lawyer for his work because i only wanted my money back. Read the agreement again and contact your lawyer immediately.
