[Resolved] Redbus — Bus got cancelled without any information | |||
I have booked the ticket in Ruben transport using Redbus on 17 the Dec 2015 with journey date 25 the Dec 7: 45 PM. Before 2 hours I got a SMS from Redbus with bus no. But the bus got cancelled without any intimation (I came to know after cheking in the bording point) and they didn't refunded my amount 700 Rs. Jan 11, 2016 Complaint marked as Resolved Thanks a lot, I got mail from this mail id on 27 Dec 2015 ([email protected]), in that mail they informed that the refund process has been initiated. And I got my amount back within 2, 3 working days Red Bus customer support has been notified about the posted complaint. | |||

I wanted to ask whether Redbus Customer care asks for any credit card information over phone to initiate Refund. I got a phone call from someone called RK Jain ( Employee ID : 0603412)and he asked for all the credit card details on front and back to do refund. Shouldn't they just send the amount to the same account I used to purchase tickets like all vendors do. This really sounds fishy to me.
