[Resolved] Redbus — redbus fraudulently holding ticket cancelled amount (cancellation initiated by bus service operator) | |||
My tkt no: tkcx40312636 Traveled from chennai - bangalore on 4th dec 2017. I booked a ticket from chennai - bangalore on sangitha travels through Redbus, bus operator cancelled service and informed me about that and told that i will get refund from redbus. After a month i checked my account i didn't see any refund, so i called sangitha travels who told me that since i booked ticket through redbus, i should be calling redbus customer care, so i called them (I think in dec end, 2017), redbus customer care person, he took all my details and told me that i will get the refund in few days. I believed him, after a month, i casually checked my account, i didn't find the refund, so i again i called redbus customer care (Feb, 17, 2018), the person told me that they initiated it but they need proof the bus is cancelled, so the person told me to contact service operator and send a mail to them on cancellation. There are serious issues. 1) if bus is cancelled, refund should be automatic, because i used redbus service in booking and i'm customer to redbus not to sangitha travels, sangitha travels is business partner to redbus not to me. 2) first time i called redbus customer care, they told they will refund the amount and he didn't ask me to contact sangitha travels for any cancellation mails but my money was not refunded, if they need any cancellation related details they should have called to sangitha travels as they are their business partner 3) if redus is holding the money because they don't have cancellation details (Ideally received from sangitha travels), they should have informed me, because even if we consider sangitha travels not intimated redbus about bus cancellation, i called redbus and given complaint, so they have my details. So it concludes that redbus does not want to refund my cancellation money and fraudlently hold it back. I thought redbus is professional service but it is acting in a very very cheap unprofessional way. Had i not checked my bank statement and believed redbus customer care person, i would not have caught this fraud. Was this information helpful? | |||
