I had returned a defective product (a toy helicopter) to Rediff.com on 08.12.2009, but my courier returned the same to me after a week marking, "Addressee refused to receive the article". The customer care centre is also not responding to my several emails in this regard.

    Rediffmail.com — email hacking

    This is to inform that I had an email ID as [protected]@rediffmail.com which has been hacked by someone. The hacker is sending emails to my contact persons which will certainly create problem for me. It will create more problem if it is used for any illegal activity.

    The passward and personal information has been changed because of which I can not access the account.

    rediffmail-email services — Hacking of email account

    Respected Sir,
    I am very worried about this serious matter of hacking of my email account.Today morning (14th June 2011) when I was trying to open my account I found that my password has changed by somebody.I accessed my account through forgotten password process. After thoroughly examining my account I realised that somebody has done following actions from my account thereby miss using my email account:-
    1. I observed that few mails havebeen deleted from my inbox.
    2. In sent mail items around 7 mails havebeen forwarded to email account [protected]@gmail.com on 13th June 2011.
    3. Today morning I changed my password and in the evening then I check my mail I found that 1 more mail has been forwarded to [protected]@gmail.com at 16:52:44ist.
    4. I doubt that my account has been hacked by somebody for quiet some time.
    Please investigate the matter on priority as someone is trying to intrued in my privacy.I request you to contact me on priority so that i can block my account temporarily.

    This is Amar. I have been using my rediff account ->> [protected]@rediff.com since 2004/05 but approx a year ago, someone cracked my account. There was an email forwarded by one of my friends and when i opened link given in that email, it brought me to a differnet page; next day onwards, I was not able to access my account.I tried with forgot password questions as well but no luck; the person must have changed the question.       I ordered a Disney Mickey MP3 Player on[protected] by looking at this page http://shopping.rediff.com/shop/productdisplay.jsp?MICKEY-MP3-PLAYER-2GB&prrfnbr=10325474&source=b... My order number is 5682562. What I received in courier yesterday is a completely different type of MP3 player than what is shown in the photo.

      Later Rediff replied and asked me to send back that MP3 player so they can send the correct one. I sent it back and now they arent even bothered to respond to me.

      I want to register a consumer complaint and a fraud case against Rediff.com

            Rediff.com — Rediff.com - Very poor Customer Service and No refund if Product not Delivered

            It is a clear case of taking a customer/consumer for a ride. I ordered Diwali gift on Rediff.com and made the payment by my CC. This was to get delivered at my Family place. Rediff Order No: 4919294
            Second I purchased a Headphone, made the payment by my CC and again I put a request to deliver this at my Family place.
            Rediff Order No: 4950746

            Now both the orders were accepted and payment request got executed. I don't know what happened and these products never got delivered and now there is no response from customer service of rediff.com (sent 8 emails). With this forum, i just want to raise my voice so that at least i can hope to get the refund of these products (which never got delivered).
            They deliver 9 days late Diwali sweets . The sweets were lying in the courier office for 9 days .

            They do not respond to emails and insist it has been delivered .

            The Diwali sweets are not fit for human consumption .

                  I had purchase 8 GB spy pen camera ,money has debited form my saving account but vender has send to me defected 4 GB spy pen camera .I have returned defected Item to vender as per rediff customer care guidance but so many days passed there is no response form rediff customer care.

                  As per order no 5653360 I should be delievered swistro electric kettle but I have received Paasapahce electric kettle model no ATH-7001 which is available at home shope 18 @ Rs 667.50 where as I have paid Rs 1349 .Pls refund defferance of money extra paid by me. I feel cheated by your vendor. In another incidence as per Order no 5603913 I have refunded defected and not as per order item and Rs 60 recived from rediff as a courier charge paid by me but vender is not responding and rediff customer care is also not giveng reply of my mail. I have lost faith on rediff shopping .If I am not getting any reply of this mail then I will think that being compled to take leagal action .

Since 4-5 days I am unable to login my account despite of correct user id and password and get the message " The Web Page is not available.                         I have kept a folder for important mails in my mailbox. All the mails that are lying in this folder are now empty without the sender or recipients ids and their time stamp has changed to Jan 1, 1970.

                          I ordered on Shoppingmantra Enterprises online through Rediff Shopping vide order no. 5629027 on 15 Oct '09. 'Track my order' shows shipment delivered on 22 Oct '09. On that day there was no one at home to receive the shipment. The shipment no. of Aramex courier shown by 'Track my order' page is not recognized by Aramex's 'Track your shipment' page.
                          Rediff shopping was intimated several times by email. But they also have not taken any action.
                          I am beginning to feel even Rediff Shopping is as much responsible as the vendor here.
                          All online buyers, BEWARE! Be careful while ordering anything from Rediff Shopping.

                              sir,

                              after receiving a mail, the same gets automatically deleted within 24 hours weather read or not. this means that at any point of time the emails in my inbox are only those that have been received in the last 24 hours. the dissapeared mails do not appear in the thrash or deleted mail box. pls tell me how to rectify.

                              i have also installed incredimail. the mails are all availabe in the inbox for the same i.d. if accessed through incredimail.

                              that means accessing inbox thru rediffmail the inbox shows only most recent past 24 hrs mails. whereas the same inbox thru incredimail shows all mails that i have not deleted.

I trust rediffmail for a very very long time and i have locked all my important cotacts with this rediffmail account.I will be a problem to change it. I will loose my business. My alternate email adds are 1. st.[protected]@gmail.com and 2. [protected]@yahoo.com. Did rediffmail intentionally do this or did something went wrong. I think I did no worng. How will I get access to my mail. Can we trust the rediffmail people? is my security neutralized by rediffmail.com.
