We purchased Redstone tiles from the dealer in Vashi, Navi Mumbai. We were advised to buy the entire requirement at the same time to ensure uniformity of shade from the same batch.
after laying the first three/four boxes of tiles, we found them to be bent in the centre. We immediately informed the dealer who in turn informed the RSO, Mr Zia. They both visited the site the same afternoon. The RSO found fault with the karigar laying the tiles and said that the tiles which were bent should have been segregated. He explained that in a batch of approx. 100 tiles there would be 1% rejection. However, this was not true. The rejection amounted to more than 15%. The colour and design of the tiles, varied from box to box, even though the batch numbers were the same.
On completion of the job and having had a good karigar it was indeed a shame to look at the flooring. It was money and time truly wasted.
We strongly advise that future buyers reconsider their options before buying Redstone tiles. The Company does not even consider changing or returning of tiles once the box is opened.
