[Resolved] Reliance Communications — data balance not available | |||
I recharged my number [protected] with ₹93 on 2nd august 2017. The "special data offers section" under "only for you" option in *129# contains an option which reads as "1 gb/day data for 28 days only at ₹93". I activated this offer by paying ₹93 at a nearby retailer on[protected]. I was using the internet on my android phone suddenly on 7th aug the internet stopped working. I tried several times by different methods (Rebooting the phone, sim slots change, airplane mode) but all failed, the internet didn't worked at all. Then i checked my data balance and it shows "no data balance in your account". I was shocked as the pack of ₹93 promised me to provide data services for 28 days. But it was only available for 4-5 days. I waited for a day in hope that the problem should be solved automatically the next day. But nothing happened. I checked my data balance again on 8th august i. E. Today and it showed the same thing "no data balance left in your account". Then i called the reliance customer care number 198. I explained my problem to the customer executive but they told me that that was a special offer which was valid only for that particular day. Then i told them that the pack clearly mentioned that it is valid for 28 days and moreover i used the pack for more than a day. She (The customer executive) told me that she cannot see any offer like this on my number. Whereas the offer is still showing on my number under special offers. I explained the situation many times to her but each time she told the same thing that she can't see any such offer on my number and she can't do anything about it. I told her that the pack showed 28 days but gave only 5 days. But she wasn't agreeing with me and she argued that "no, it didn't showed 28 days". I even told her that i have the screenshot with me of the offer but she kept on arguing with me and told she can't do anything in this matter. I asked her what should i do now as all my money is wasted. The reply was shocking. She told "sir, we cannot do anything in this matter and regarding the money, you should recharge your account again"! I called the customer care again but to hear the same things again. The customer executives didn't listen to the problems, instead they replied what they learnt and mugged up and what they were taught. I really feel cheated that how the companies loot the valuable money of their customers either by giving fake/wrong packs or the customer executives not listening to the problems and arguing with the customers. It had not happened once. Many times i have been "looted". Now the water has risen above the the safe limits. I am finally porting this number to such a company where these "thugs" aren't present and the grievances of its customers are properly heard. I have provided screenshots of the offer currently showing on my number. Whereas the customer executive told that they are unable to see any such offer on my number.
