[Resolved]  Reliance Communications — Overcharging, fraud and miscommunication

Respected sir,

My name is obaid ahmad i am an advocate by profession. I am using reliance postpaid number [protected] since last 16 months. I got my number switched into reliance postpaid through mnp from allahabad with the expectation of ease and amenity of not being harassed like other telecom services. But i am feeling very sorry to say that like wise others my beliefs and trust has been shattered by your company too..
Sir i was using a jalsa unlimited plan_998 having benefits of 50% discount on rental with all outgoing and incoming free even while on roaming and free unlimited data of 2g. My number got activated on 12th of january 2016. I used this plan till[protected]. On 19 th january 2017 i got a message from reliance to upgrade the 2g sim to 4g without changing current plan. So i upgarded my sim to 4g from 2g. Thereafter i got a service call from reliance regarding 4g plans and on[protected] i got plan changed from jalsaunlmtd_998 to jalsaunlmtd_499 with the same benefits of 50% discount in rental and all incoming outgoing calls free while on roaming with 2gb of 4g data sr.[protected]. Again i got a call from reliance service regarding plans best suited according to my uses. From here the problem starts her name was komal she told me that we have the best plan for ur number according to your uses. She gave me a plan of jalsaunlmtd_699 (Sr no[protected] with the same benifits of 50% discount on rental as well as all calls free while even on roaming with 10gb of 4g data. Sir i asked her several times regarding the benefits i was continuing with and she made me believed that it was the same plan and benifits with 50% discount in rental which i was using, only change is with extra data which is 10gb, earlier i was getting 2gb in jalsa 499 plan. But now when i got the bill for the month of april it was not accordingly. They didn't give me a discount of 50% on rental and a whole rental was charged which is rs.699.
When i complained about this on 198 they said there is no such plan of 50% discount on rental with this plan of jalsa 699. When i gave proofs they were apologising about the miscommunication done to me about the benefits of the plan but were not ready to give me a waiver of overcharged amount. Even now they are saying that discount benefit of 50% on rental which i was availing will not be provided to u again as this is now not available. Sir i made several complaints but all my requests turn into deaf ears. I again went for mnp due to this harrassment but again i got call from reliance services and they promised me a quick waiver if i will stay with reliance. And gave me an advance rental plan of arp_1497 (Sr no[protected] on[protected]. But i got nothing till now. All my services are barred data services and both incoming and outgoing. Because of this i didnt pay my bill and a penalty of rs100 has been incurred on me as late fine. Yesterday i again got may month's bill despite of being not able to use my number. I have already made a complaint to national consumer helpline my complaint number is 285939. I am facing so many problems these days as i am a lawyer and my profession requires 24 hrs phone availability. Kindly intervene into the matter and do the best for me. Thank you
