[Resolved]  Reliance Digital — dent on washing machine

Dear team,

This is William here. I bought a brand new Samsung washing machine on 21st of Aug and got it delivered on 22nd Aug. They told that technician will come for installation on the same day but he didn’t pick up the call and he came on the next day (23rd of Aug). Next day technician told that he will come by 02:30 but he came earlier around 01:30 and so that I had to take permission and come. It hardly took 10 mins to unwrap, fit things and give me a demo. I didn’t notice the machine at all. Later, the same day I noticed a dent on the machine and I tried to reach the technician but I couldn’t reach him. Then I went straight to the store where I purchased the machine. I told them the details and they raised the complaint. I went to the store the next 3 consecutive days but they didn’t respond anything. I could see the person in the store trying to help me by raising complaints and reaching out to the senior persons but there was no reply at all. They were telling like technicians won’t install machines that had dents. I don’t have to lie on such things. I bought a fridge a week before from the same shop. Why one should complaint about the things that’s isn’t having a fault or dents. I went back to the shop in 2 days to complaint the issue and still they say that the fault is not with them.

I don’t complain the technician but it could have happened during transporting. It’s the trust I had so much on reliance to keep the machine unboxed until the technician came. As I was in a hurry I had to leave without looking properly over the machine.

Only 2 o[censored]s live in the flat nothing is near the machine to make the dent. When I raised the complaint all I told was they can’t do anything for that since I told them after 2 days. I went 12 kms all the way to that particular shop to get the product.

Is this how people treat customers.? Do they want us to keep running back to stores to sort out the issue. Even then they say the fault is ours.? A machine can’t get a dent unless it is hit hard which could never happen in unfurnished new flat.

I’m requesting for a replacement as the mistake is not from my side. I’m not responsible for the dent, then why should pay for something that is damaged. If mistake is from side I’m ready to pay to correct it.

Sorry it’s not from my end. The machine hasn’t been moved a inch since the day they fixed it. I could have wrote this earlier, I thought reaching out to store might help but there was no response and so I have to raise a strong complaint on that. Kindly understand from the customer point and help me out on this.

Note: None reached me regarding this since the day(25th Aug) I raised the complaint, where I was told that I will get one, either from technician or the team.
