[Resolved] Reliance Digital — false promises / irresponsible / unethical behaviour / faulty product sold | |||
I am very frustrated and disappointed by the way reliance digital acts on its customer's issue. Let me describe the whole incident. I visited reliance sarjapur, bangalore store last year to purchase a water purifier (Normal one), which will dispose water without a need of electricity. However the salesman sold me a panasonic water purifier with a false promise of machine disposing water without electricity. This false thing came into light the very next day of installation, when there was a power cut at my place and we reported this incident to reliance immediately. Reliance said they will take action against the salesman but nobody was ready to give me refund or any option to choose any other purifier. I struggled to get this thing fixed for almost 6 months and had a word with several managers (Jankiram, souvik etc..) and cluster head (Rajesh) of reliance sarjapur but nothing happened as no one was ready to take responsibility for the issues created by their own employees. Finally i lost all hopes and stopped visiting reliance for refund. During this six months of period, i faced a lot of issues with this product, and raised a several tickets with reliance. Issues like getting current while holding steel glass to take water, alkaline water not disposing, water not getting purified, leakage problem, machine startup problem etc.. Whenever i raised a ticket, i waited more than 4 days for an engineer to visit my place and that too after multiple following-ups initiated from my end. During this wait period i had to bring water bottles from outside and drink. If the issue is once or twice then i would have understood but this product is giving me multiple issue every now and then and it doesn't matter to reliance as they easily fooled me and made a sale. Frustrated with reliance and the product, i finally called panosonic to get this machine repaired fully however they denied to provide service stating that i have purchased this product from reliance and reliance have a separate service team to deal with this issues. So i left with no other choice of calling reliance for my purifier issues. I would like to highlight one particular issue that i am facing from past 3 months now wherein i repeatedly informed reliance that my purifier stopped working. Every time the service engineers visits and go back with a word stating its was a loose connection and we fixed it. After 3-4 repeated incident, multiple follow ups with reliance they finally came to conclusion that the pci board went off and hence the purifier is getting stopped automatically and also due to some carbon the water is not getting purified. On this issue, i have been informed by reliance representatives jyothika, amrutha, naresh, nandish etc that they have ordered pci board and carbon and it will be fixed by max 31st of may 2018. However they failed to fix this. Later they postponed it to 2nd of june, failed again. I then had a word with manager souvik and he gave me a final deadline of 5th june and that failed too. Yesterday on 8th june, an engineer visited with a carbon filter without knowing that their is a problem with pcb board as well and the team has ordered it. Further talking to their service manager i came to know that they have not ordered pcb board as they didn't received any update on it. Feedup talking with all irresponsible person and process failures, i finally called anupam kumar (Head of south region) and informed the scenario. He acted on it and i got call from service team and asking for time again to arrange the pcb board to fix my purifier. This is one of the worst product and service i have ever received. Not a single day went fine with that purifier. I have faced multiple issues and created 9+ service tickets with reliance in the spam of 11 months and doesn't know how many more issues i have to face in future. And also my warranty is going to expire on 26th of june 2018. Currently, i'm getting water bottles from outside and drinking it. This is a continuous process even after having a purifier at home. Moreover i am still paying emi's for this particular product. I would like to make a final request: 1 please refund my amount as reliance has sold me a faulty product to which i was not able to use that product fully. Or 2. Please give an option to select any other purifier which works efficiently. Or 3. Give me a minimum of 5 years of warrant on my current product so that i can atleast make 50% use of it and create tickets every now and then for the issues.
