Reliance Fresh — miserable experience at your cash counter. staff inexperienced and not customer friendly. very poor service. | |||||
Today (28 october 2017) morning i went to your shop in kadavanthara, ernakulam, kochi, kerala state to buy some soap powder. On the rack there was an offer displayed in very bold letters for arieal washing soap powder (For front loading washing machines). The offer was "buy 2packs of 2kg washing powder for rs860/- and get one 2kg pack free". I checked it again with one of your senior staff and she also confirmed it to me. When i took it to your counter for payment; there was a new staff (Her name is elona) who took considerable time to clear the customer in front of me. After a wait of 20 or more minutes holding the 6kg soap powder, she billed me using my bank debit card rs1257/-. I told her that the offer says rs860/- and you are charging me rs1257/- why?. Then she went inside to call her manager. He came out, told her something and went back. She then gave me back cash rs 250/-. I told her it is still not ok. As i am suppose to get rs 457/- which she has over charged me. She went back again to her manager leaving the counter. After 5 minutes she came back and gave me another rs150/-. I told her it is still not correct. I still has to get rs97/- more. By that time the other customers who were in que behind me started shouting at her as almost 45 minutes passed. I had an appointment and i started getting calls to come to the meeting, as i am presiding that meeting and i am already late. So i left your counter. I told your cashier that i am leaving now as i have an urgent meeting to attend. I told her she still has to return me rs.97/- which she over charged. I did express my dissatisfaction the way i was treated. It was a miserable experience. Your other staff and all other customers were witness to this incident. Is this the reliance style of customer care.?? Or is this the reward from reliance for loyal customers??? This is not the first time such things happening. Most of the time we, the customers do not complaint, thinking the staff may get fired. But today it has passed all the limits. This was a very bad experience. That is why i am putting this in writing. I have to get it resolved. For your information. I am a senior citizen and your customer ever since your shop opened in kadavanthara. The only reason i am still using it is because it is very close to my house. The shop is always congested and poorly managed. I have noticed that there is frequent change in the staff. Most of them them fresh and inexperienced. Managers also the same. No one sticking long in that shop. Hence lot of confusion, wrong pricing, items are not in proper racks and wrong display, making it very difficult for customers to find the items they are looking for. Cash counter takes long time to clear each customer. Some times not enough staff, weighing scale not working and problems with the machines excepting credit / debit cards. Some times not enough staff at cashier desk and customers has to shout to get some one to attend them. I still has to get rs97/- from reliance. I hope the senior management of reliance give due attention to my complaint and settle it as quick as possible. I come to know the manager on duty was mr.
