Reliance Jio Infocomm — jio service recharge failure and extreme rude customer care attitude

I have jio prime membership and so does my wife. I recharged my and my wif'es jio plan on friday 18th aug by doing a upi payment of rs 399 each (So total 798 rs) from myjio app. I got a message from bank that amount was credited but i did not get any message from jio that recharge was successful.

I called up jio customer care on saturday asking about the problem and they told me that their servers were down and many customers were facing this issue. So they asked me to wait till saturday midnight after which they claimed that problem will get resolved.in the meanwhile me and my wife were getting regular messages and calls that our jio service has got deactivated so we should recharge immediately.

On sunday (Today), when the recharge was still not done, i again called up jio customer care and this time they told me that my upi payment has got declined.

When i asked them why it was not informed to me the previous day and why i was given a false reply when i had called their customer care, they declined to give a proper answer. They said me that they cannot do anything about it and i will have to wait for 5-7 days for refund, but they cannot guarantee it.

Then i told them that i wanted to speak to their manager. After the call got transferred to their team leader abhishek, he gave me the same reply. I asked him to forward me that message about payment decline but he said that he is not authorized for that. He spoke very rudely to me saying that nothing can be done in this case and i will have to live with it.

He even told me that he should not even be speaking to me since it is my problem that payment has got declined. He started bragging to me saying that he is a team leader. He was also not ready to transfer the call to his manager, nor was he ready to help me in any which way to get my problem resolved.

So after a lot of to and fro talks, he declined to help me in any which way. So my plan has not got recharged, my money is gone, i am facing the trouble of doing follow ups with no resolution and only bad behavior from jio's customer support. I do not have any message saying that payment has got declined and nor do i have way to know which is the third party associated with jio through whom this upi payments are done.

So i am at a big loss here in every which way and i do not know what is the way out. Can anybody here help me out?

Just to add insult to my injury, the team leader agreed that the servers were never down on Saturday, but he was also not ready to take any action against the customer care executive who had given me the false information about their servers being down. He told me that he cannot do anything about it. When my wife tried speaking to him (her JIO recaharge was also not done, so technically she was also liable to ask questions), he rudely said that he will not entertain any other person speaking to him.

I do not understand why such big plans and services are announced in first place if companies cannot provide good services. What about accountability for such people who speak rudely and do not care about our time money and trouble? Eventually, we people are at loss and such rude people become team leaders and continue to thrive. What else can I say - very sorry and pathetic state of affairs.
