Reliance Jio Infocomm — wrong information about port status by customer care

To be in very short I had applied for porting from idea to jio of my mobile no. [protected]. First time my application was not processed due to incomplete application as intimated by jio customer care. Second time again it was same story. Third time I again visited jio store to retry the process. When I asked through jio customer care, it was again intimated that photo of aadhar card was not clear. The message was too clear about the incomplete application. The whole scenario lasted for around 7-10 days and I visited the store 8 times for no gain.

Lastly, being frustrated I decided to purchase a new jio sim and did the same. I did a recharge through debit card by paying Rs. 598/-. The new jio mobile no. was activated on same day i.e. 08.01.19.

Now, on 10 Jan 19, I got a message SMS that my old porting request is success and my idea no. has been deactivated. It is purely unplanned and solely due to the wrong info provided by the rep. of jio.

Now, my total schedule is based on my deactivated mobile no. i.e. [protected]. For eg. Bank, Gas, OTPs, Ola, Important phone calls, online shopping through credit card, access to online banking for OTPs and many more which I even dont remember now. I will face these from now onwards only. It will give me pure loss of about 2000/- everyday from tomorrow onwards i.e. 11.01.19 until I again recharge the ported no. unnecessarily to get the calls and SMS.

But, as a matter of wrong info and my rights as a consumer against wrongful act done by the service provider, I would request the forum to bear the amount by the Jio infocom against all the personnel losses wef 11.01.19. Also, I request the forum to initiate and process the recharge amount to start calls / message services is stopped unplanned and sudden due to wrong information provided by the customer care. My all calls may be retrieved for any clarity which is recorded by JIO for Quality & Training purpose.

Importantly, I would not be able to bear the intrupption of service to make or receive calls from my nears/dears as well as financial loss of per day as mentioned above.

Also, I am a serving defence personnel and always ready for the call of duty. Now a days, these emergent duties are recalled through calling on my deactivated mobile number. This scenario is most crucial for me and my family.

Reference is made to my previous complaint dated 11 jan 19 in respect of porting of my idea no. [protected].

I have a serious grievance about reliance jio's notorious service.in my previous complaint i had brought out that jio has activated my service in wrong way.

But, now the the case has become too serious as my idea no. [protected] has been deactivated but service has not been activated by jio as it was to be started on 10 jan 19. I have also got the message about the same. Today first time i could not use my no. Which is my primary number. I had to transfer money through online banking but could not be transferred due to absence of otp.

I suffered a financial loss rs. 5000/- approx due to jio and also faced severe inconvenience. Tomorrow i will have to face the same issue. I am not getting important phone calls also as my primary contact is deactivated.

I need clarification that if there was any issue in porting of number then why i was not intimated? Why my request had been accepted without proper action and verification.

Now, i need my money reimbursed by jio for the financial loss i have incurred due to jio telecom. And also i will ask for claim if i suffer from financial loss from tomorrow onwards, if any. I also need my service to be activated immediately.

If not satisfied and recovered my financial loss, i would challenge the whole scenario through legal channel immediately. Also,
Being a defence personnel, i would request ministry of defence for favourable action in welfare forum.
