[Resolved]  Reliance Telecom Limited — No mobile network connectivity

Reliance Shillong GSM Mobile No: [protected] has no network connectivity since 3/1/2016.The current location of the subscriber is Visva Bharati University Shantiniketan Bolpur West Bengal. Complaint has been registered with Reliance but no resolution has been forthcoming. They are saying the network team is looking into it but nothing more.My daughter a student at Visva Bharati University is using the phone. I am amazed at the casual and callous attitude of reliance given the fact its 11 days and counting that they have not been able to restore the network.

I received a mail from RTL informing me that my complaint is being looked into by the network team followed by a call from the call centre. Finally I received a mail from the company informing me the no network problem has been resolved.It took 18 days for the network to be restored.

Network connection for mobile no: [protected] was restored on 20/1/2016 at around 6 pm.I hope you have taken the necessary remedial measures to ensure that this problem for whatsoever reasons does not occur in future and my daughter and I are spared the unnecessary harassment and inconvenience. Further I would also like to inform you that since there has been no network connection for 18 days ( i.e; 3/1/2016 to 20/1/2016 ), I should not be charged rental neither shall I pay the rental for 18 days.You must therefore deduct the amount on pro-rata basis for the period [ i.e; Monthly Rental Payable = Rs 599( 30 days) Rental per day = Rs.19.96 x 18 days = 359.28. Rental Payable after deduction Rs 599.00 - Rs 359.28 = Rs 239.72]
Kindly ensure that you present the correct bill.

Dear Sir,
I have received Bill No.[protected] dated 22 Jan-16 (Bill Period: 22.12.2015 to 21.01.2016) amounting to Rs. 703.37. As reported to you in my complaint dated 21 Jan-16, due to no network connection for 18 days ( 3/1/2016 to 20/1/2016), I have paid rental for 13 days amounting to Rs.251.16 + S.T Rs.36.41= 287.57 ( Total Amount Paid Rs.288).
What came as a shock is that you have charged Rs.15.30 for voice calls against One India One Rate 599 Tariff Plan wherein 1200 minutes of Local & NLD Voice calls + 200 SMS + 2 MB Data are free. I wonder why your billing department should make such glaring mistakes when the tariff plan clearly mentions the quota of free usage. This in my opinion amounts to FRAUD and I shall not accept any such mistakes in future.
I would therefore urge you to make the necessary corrections in my last bill as mentioned above and ensure I am presented the correct bill for payment.
