[Resolved]  Renault — Battery drainage/discharge problem in KWID 1.0 RXT

On 11/10/2016, I purchased a motor vehicle KWID 1.0 RXT. Unfortunately, the vehicle has not been satisfactory as it showed system error/ operational fault error not a month after the purchase. We were asked to get it repaired from Verna Service Center. We did as directed. However, on 09/01/2017, the display was showing low battery. We launched a complain against this in renault, they sent technician to test who said ALTERNATOR BREAKDOWN/not in working condition.
I rely on my car for transport.
I want exact reason behind this breakdown within 3 month of a purchase.
I am not recommending any of the buyer to go for this car as its a pathetic car and so as the after sale service.

No resolution yet... I am very disappointed with Renault service.. car keeps on off due to bettery issue but no support from kwid service centre, rather then they are giving senseless reasons..

I am going to consumer court now...
Car is getting off within 2 minutes if ignition is off

I purchased Renault Kwid AMT 1.0 in October & same issue (Battery gets drained) started in December. The car has been with dealership from 3 weeks but no resolution yet.

The dealership can't even diagnose the issue. They send the car saying no issue & the car shuts down once it's home (battery gets completely drained) & we need to send in back.

I had purchase Renault Kwid RXL 800 CC in 2016.
But battery problem is not resolved yet.I had visited service center many times but they replied that battery is expired and new one should be installed.
I am really disappointed by Reanult.

I bought my kwid last year May and already my battery is flat my doors have squeeky sounds and I dunno what's wrong, mechanically when I hit 70km mark the car is shaking and no its not alignment or wheel balancing but it's been doing this alot went to Renault but have no solution I'm really tired of this and want a resolution please help me.

I own a Renault Kwid RXT (O) in 2017. As of now I am quite satisfied with the performance of vehicle. Now a days, just from May 2019, its annoying due to its bad battery performance. Most of the time need to use push it to get start the car, which is not a good idea when alone on the road. Its really very disappointing which gives me mental as well as financial dissatisfaction. I think battery should not be of that bad quality which gets out of performance over the use of about 2 yrs.

I am a triber owner and the original battery went kaput in just 1 year. I think Renault is using refurbished battery with just 1 year warranty normal car batteries have standard 2 to 3 years warranty. Now I have to spend another 6k after 1 year just for battery. Pathetic company and pathetic quality used by Renault. I think making a car using second hand parts.

They are looting customers.
Same case with me.
I bought a Renault Triber in July. And in September the battery is dead!
What's worse... the dashboard doesn't show "low or no battery". Instead it shows "Brake fault", "Steering fault".
They are saying now battery warranty is of one year.
But their website says:
"Your new Renault vehicle is covered by Renault warranty for a period of 2 years or 50 000 km* from the delivery date. It covers all mechanical and electrical failure..."

All battery gives 2+2 years warranty!

This is the condition of battery after 2 months of servicing in which they mentioned that they greased the battery terminals.

Liars. FYI - The concerned service center is Renault Faridabad.

I bought a Renault KWID in Sept 2020 and now 2 years later am again facing the same issue as other consumers here. The service center guy at Andheri, Mumbai, told me after my 3rd service (in early Sept 2022) that the battery may need to be replaced soon. I was surprised as it has been just 2 years since buying the vehicle and i wouldn't expect the battery to die so quickly. Surely, on 20th October, the car refused to turn on. I had to push start it. If so many users are facing this, its really a bad quality product being used and I'm disappointed that i chose Renault now, God knows what other parts are low quality...
Not sure what resolution can be provided but I'm not happy about this.
