[Resolved] Renault — car engine got fired while driving | |
Sir / madam I have purchased a new renault kwid rxt (O) petrol on 27.11.2016 bearing chassis no: meebba000g8396953, engine no: e097699 and the same was registered as vehicle no: tn 03 t 8748 under hypothecation with nissan renault fin ser i private limited. From the date of delivery the vehicle has undergone many services due to failure of horn, engine noise, pick up issues, break failure and leak in engine oil, etc,. The vehicle was purchased only before 7 months, however had left service for more than 4 times. On 10.06.2017, i had travelled to coimbatore to attend a marriage function. On that day, around 10.30 a. M., a sudden fire was burst and smokes were oozed out from the front bonnet. I was shocked and immediately stopped the vehicle on the highway near avinasi road, next to udupi hotel. I have immediately informed the same to the roadside assistance by dialing[protected] and have also informed the highway patrol. One sekar from tvs auto assist (India) limited had come and towed the vehicle to the nearby renault service center and my vehicle was attended by one shudhan. It is found that the engine along with certain parts was found in molten state due to such fire accident. The attendant informed me that fortunately i did not turn on the air conditioning, which saved in emerging of fire inside the vehicle that saved our lives. However, till date, i was not informed the cause/reason of fire in the vehicle. I was also informed that the change in engine and other parts damaged in such incident is required for functioning of vehicle. It is to be noted that the said vehicle was purchased only before 7 months but had undergone several services due to manufacturing defects and failure of parts one by one. I did not want to change the engine and other parts that may affect the efficiency of the vehicle and may not be guaranteed in long run. But the engine was changed without my permission on july 2017 and still i'm not receiving original copy of ripl. I'm not getting proper response from both thirupure anamali service center and also from khivraj renault chennai. I was given my original rc book to khivraj renault chennai on november 2017 to update the engine number. But still i'm not getting any response from both anamalais service center and khivraj renault chennai. Request you to do the needful. Was this information helpful? | |
