[Resolved]  Renault — tight steering wheel.

I have bought renault duster diesel 85bhp car in the month of may in year 2014, my car has done 49, 619kms and i am very happy with the performance of the car.

Since last few days the steering wheel is tight and i feel like i am driving a heavy truck, specially when i am taking reverse it is too tight. I recently took it to trident renault service station at mysore road (R r nagar) my service adviser calls me this morning and says the steering wheel rack has worn out and it needs to be replaced at a whopping cost of inr 38k.

I am an hardcore fan of reanult duster however this is very disappointing to know about this at less than 50k kms.

I have Renault duster 110PS now I am facing problem with steering it becomes hard sometimes when turning on right side, Any one has solution for it here. it will be very help full.

Renault Co. Silently replacing faulty acceleration pad & sensor. They should proactively call all customers & replace the faulty parts. Such a big brand considering India market as granted & producing such a inferior quality product & our Indian management people supporting these wrong things. What a shame. Suggestion Legal action should require.
