[Resolved] Renault — Withholding of payment of my just dues | |
Sir, I am a senior advocate of asansol district court (Wb) pashim bardhman. Just before the lock down period the triber rxz model was delivered to me by your dealer smsg automart pvt ltd of asansol renault. As per instruction of your dealer by two separate cheque i have paid a sum of rs 6, 86, 250/- towards the on road price of the vehicle at asansol and rs 55944/- towards road tax and registration & other charges. Insurance charges i directly paid to the insurance co as kindly settled by mr. Dipankar ghosh dgm of asansol renault. I took delivery of my vehicle on[protected]. From the customer copy of the receipt dated[protected] issued by govt of w. B., state transport department, paschim burdwan r. T. O (Which i received from asansol renault office) i find that towards mv tax (05 mar 2020 to 04 mar 2025) a sum of rs 37, 744/ and for new registration rs 600/- and for some other charges a sum of rs 140/- in total rs 38, 484/- has been acknowledged as received by the dept concerned towards my vehicle being chassis no meerbc004l2033028. As mr. Ghosh was not available on[protected] in the office, i personally talked with the other senior officials of the asansol renault, who gladly assured me that the residue of my payment (I. E. Rs 55944 –rs rs 38484=rs 17460/-) after some minor adjustment for un-official expanses, will be refunded to me. Unfortunately within the next few days the lock down started and all official activities of asansol renault was temporary shut downed. After opening when i went for the 1st free service, on[protected] as i have also to install some original accessories of the car from the office, i met and enquired from mr. Dipankar ghosh dgm of asansol renault, about my dues of rs17460/- with a clear statement of the a/c, who asked for some time for finalizing the dues and on[protected] send me a massage in my whatsapp, from the phone no [protected] as “sir, we can adjust up to rs 4000/-“, which prompt me to place the aforesaid facts and figure to you for an effective and equitable remedy to my grievance, so that i can get my just dues of rs 17460/ at the earliest and can avoid further litigation. Sir, as a genuine customer and a member of “renault family” i expect your early action. I am ready to furnish all documents and phone recordings.. Thanking you.
