Reserve Bank Of India [RBI] — Inspection charge on kisan credit account | |||
My father has a kisan credit account in a nationalised bank of India. He has taken a loan of 60000 rupees. Recently from his account an Inspection charge of rupees 708 (approx) has been charged. I want to know the following thing 1) According to the guidelines of RBI, is this right to charge any inspection charge from a kisan credit account loan 2) If no, then what are the penalties and punishment a bank can face if it charges any inspection charge from a kisan credit card account?
