Dated 18/07/2015 Rockland Hospital - Kindly treat a patient like a patient instead of mare customer I don't want to file a complain however I am force to lodged after seen the treatment they are given to my wife. I have taken a single occupancy room (costing me 5000per day), From past three days, doctor had visited only four times out of which once we couldn't met him as hospital boys has sent her for ultrasound. Till third time, they were saying that may be having gastric, migraine, urine infections, uti issues, some major illness etc etc I.e they are not even sure what treatment they need to give her. They have recommended for almost 8-10 test's after which they were able make up that she is have "Typhoid" Hospital nurses are non supporting and boys are non trained. They inject her four times and everytime bleeding was there (have take pics as well, if good hospital required). I am calling for a doctor from last evening, however till 8 am no doctor visited her. Almost all the time she is taken care by nurse's only without proper skills. She was having bleeding for her vein and when called office boy/nurses, they are showing least interest and asking one or another to go. There are mosquitoes in the room. Bathroom water is very very dirty. For drinking water/patient meals, we need to follow up. Television is not working. Etc.. Thou not a concern There are many other issues similar too... I request hospital to treat a patient like a patient, not like a customer. Post my complaint, I got a call @11 am from a doctor who enquired about my concern and sent a doctor to patient room in 5 min. However more surprising is, same doctors day before said that patient need to be admitted for three more days. However post compliant on consumer forum, he has discharged the patient on very same time with perception of oral medicines (on our single request) and with a statement that oral medicines will suffice now. He only took 2-3 mins in his entire visit. Before complaint, nurses were saying majority of doctors were on leave because of weekend (Saturday and Sunday) before of which delay was caused. However post complaint, we found that same doctor were there. Now, we are discharged from the hospital. Still, patient is suffering and has to diagnose of her own/another doctor/hospital. They have raise a sound bill for typhoid (INR 25k+) and still we are on stage zero. Patient has suffered for three days with more that 20 injections, 8-10 drips, 8-10 tests, ultrasounds, xray, blood and other test, numerous medicine's, three plus one doctor visit and numerous nurses visits and hassles. For preparation of bills, good hospital has taken more than 4 hours. In billing they have given a relaxation in room charges at the end, however such heavy room charges (Rs 3500 per day/per person/double occupancy) does not include food for patient. Rest personally, I won't recommend this hospital to anyone unless emergency/no other option. Bill of many medicine was raised unnecessary and which we need to pay else they are not allowing us to leave. SERIOUSLY wrong charges are raised which were forcefully asked from us else we are not allowed to leave/patient not allowed to discharged. Charges are taken without test/exam. We know that our insurance/company is paying on our behalf however incorrect charges are not acceptable. Also, even if a patient is registered earlier, then too they used to charge registration fee again for which they are not ready to give a invoice. Don't know in whose pocket it is going and when hospital is paying suitable taxes on it or not. One among the good things of this hospital is that it is close to my place/office. Request hospital/Management to come up addressing our concern else we need to request consumer forum to act on our behalf.
