Royal Enfield — Classic 350 chain sprocket - life time is too less | |||
I had given my vehicle for servicing with venkateswara bike zone, chennai, tamil nadu on 18-dec-16. I got a call from them that chain is slightly rusted. Hence he told me that i have to change the chain. I said since it is only light rust, i told him to lubricate. Again he called today (19-dec-16) and told that one chain sprocket teeth has broken and i need to change the same. My vehicle is two years old and the ride km is only 10, 000. Do you have any life specified for your chain and chain sprockets? If so, how much or how long. He is also insisting to change fork oil and i don't know why. What is frequency to change the fork oil. It looks like venkateswara bike zone is trying to make money by changing as many spare as part as they want to change. Royal enfield is also not responding. Instead service guys are replying..
