Royal Enfield — rear rim condition
I am Abhishek Sarangi from Mumbai and I recently purchased an Interceptor 650(Chassis No. - ME3P7A6FFK1021409). Its been a month that I got the bike and last night I faced a life threatening situation and so I thought I would tell you guys about it. I was on the highway and was riding at no more than 60 kmph when suddenly my bike went into a pothole. Even after saving myself and the bike from a major accident(as there were lorries and trucks behind me), the rear rim faced an impact and got bent. I have sent my bike to the service station in Vile Parle and they are replacing the rim currently. But I want to know what quality of rims you guys are using. Had it been some other company's parts I would have understood. But this is Royal Enfield and I have been an ardent lover of your bikes but now I don't feel secure riding your bikes. Had the vehicles behind me not stopped on time I would have been in a critical situation. This is highly unacceptable considering I invested so much in a bike and it being just a month old! I need answers and a solution to this as I'm sure someone else would someday face a similar situation which I hope doesn't happen. If you guys fail to reply on time, I would have no other option than to turn to social media for this. I am sure you guys are responsible that way. Was this information helpful?
