Royal Enfield — service and quality issues | |||
I bought a royal enfield gunmetal classic 350 from ahmedabad on 18th november, 2019. Everything was smooth till initial 150 kms but the actual problem started after i opted for their road side assistance after my bike had a flat tyre. After calling re assistance they sent a service guy and this guy completely manhandled the bike and had very little knowledge of the bike. He first took the tyre to a near by puncture shop and told me that the entire tube was to be changed but charged way more than the actual cost. I had to personally go to the vendor and negotiate, no doubt this guy had commission. Again after fitting the tyre he did not even check the basic functionality like speed o meter. The speed o meter stopped working and when i called him again after a few hours he said this will be a separate visit. It's been only a few days and i have already started getting some weird noise from the disc break. I have serious doubts on the quality and configuration of this bike. Please think 100 times before buying. For a cruiser bike you can have way better options like java bikes where the customers are truly valued and companies try to give best service to them.
