[Resolved] Rto — unjustified mv act lodged | |||
My car no. Is od 05 af-3768, on 18/7/2019 evening my car was stopped near sector 11 cuttack by rto people and make a challan for rs1400/-, i asked for the reason for the same and then they told me that due to high speed challan was made as limit on the bridge is 50 kmph (Max), but your vehicle speed is 81 kmph. Then i told ok that i was not aware of it and if i have done mistake then i have to pay penalty for that. I asked him for cashless payment but he told me that you have to deposit this amount in rto office within two days. Then i received the challan and back to home and checked the mv act on which ground it was made. I found that mv act 183 & 184 was lodges against me. 183 is ok as my vehicle speed was more than specified speed and fine for that is rs.400/-, but still unable to understand the mv act 184 (Dangerous driving) which was imposed on me. When already rs.400 was charged for high speed) i think it was intentionally lodged on me for harassment. If 81 kmph speed is a dangerous category then why the car manufacturer are designing that speed, more over at that time here was no rush on bridge. On saturday 20/7/2019 i went to rto office for payment and stand in queue. After that they have taken the receipt and told me that we will send this receipt to the person through what’s app who has made this chaalan and after getting confirmation from him we will receive the payment. Was waiting there till 1.30pm and request him to call the officer for confirmation but as per them they will not call that person and whenever he will send confirmation then only we will received the payment. I can able to do the payment at 4.35 pm. Means whole day i have to lost, just to do payment of challan in rto office. We are telling that our system has improved now but for doing a payment in rto a person has to take leave for one day. (Person has to lose his one day salary). I request that please clarify the mv act 184 which was intentionally imposed on me and refund my penalty clause 184 amount to me. And instruct the officer not to do such type of incident otherwise no body will believe on rto action. Ajay kumar singh Was this information helpful? | |||
Dec 8, 2020 Complaint marked as Resolved I have not received any mail/message regarding to this complaint . I don't know how it has resolved if resolved then where is the reply of that complaint.
