Developer (Runwal forest) not giving registration according to allotment letter
I have booked property (Flat) runwal forest mumbai kanjurmarg west. Jan-2014. Prelaunch under construction. Developer agreed possession in june 2018 at at a time of booking. Based on this we have booked the flat and paid booking amount 20% of agreement cost by cheque in jan 2014. Until now we have paid 48% of agreement cost by cheque. Developer issued and signed allotment letter and mentioned possession date aug 2019 in allotment letter
Now i have requirement of bank loan. I asked developer for my flat for registration now he is changing possession date as mention in allotment letter extending again 18 months up to dec 2020.
Now i have calculated bank interest and suffering loss of rs, 35 – 40 laks. Due to delayed possession 18 months. And developer not ready for registration according to allotment letter.
Now from 1st may 2017 rera act is implementing.in the above situation rera act will be helpful for me or not otherwise i have to wait for 7 years for possession (Jan 2014 – dec 2020) Was this information helpful? |
Can you please advise what is the response you got from Runwal for the delay in possession. Since in my allotment letter the date of possession was August 2019. But now as per RERA agreement they are giving possession date as 2021.
