Safari Bags — poor after sales service

Address:Mumbai City, Maharashtra, 400004

In july 2018, i purchased a safari backpack, click purple 35 litres for a good price. The reason i went for the purchase was the bag had a decent laptop compartment, a nice organiser, raincover and a wonderful shoe rack (Convi box). As the price had reduced to 3 digits, i went ahead and purchased the bag.
The bag was as per my expectations and it provided great service.in november 2018, i realised the stitches in the front compartment had opened so i reported the matter to [protected]@safari.in on 24 november 2018.
The team replied to me the same day acknowledging the matter and assured a replacement. I went ahead and provided my address.
On 27 november, 2018, i was advised the purple colored bag was out of stock and safari can provide me blue instead. I agreed to this.
Later on there was no update from the team and i was then advised the click series is no longer available. The team offered me what they called equivalent tennis court blue and purple and stage grey and black.
I wrote to them seeking a confirmation whether all the features were available in these 2 bags. I was pretty sure the convi box would not be available in both.
As per my knowledge, both stage and tennis court blue series were 35 litres laptop backpacks with rain covers.
I then received a call from safari customer care where the representative informed me both bags did not include a convi box. I was aware the stage series was a older version and will not include a secret pocked. Our conversation on phone was centred around the convi box.
I then agreed to the tennis court blue and the bag was received by me on 10 december 2018.
The problem starts here. What i have received is not a laptop backpack and is in no way 35 litres. What i have received is something in the range of 30 litres.
I wrote to safari and sought feedback on the matter as i wanted to know how can such a low capacity, non-laptop backpack be even considered as a replacement.
I received a call from safari care yesterday, 19 december 2018 where the representative argued with me, the bag was shipped only after i gave a go-ahead. The representative went on to argue all aspects of the bag were discussed on phone, which is nothing but a lie.
To sum it up, i purchased a 35 litre laptop backpack with some unique features like a convi box. What i have received as replacement is a lower capacity backpack without a laptop compartment or convi box. Agree, the missing convi box part was discussed on phone. But, i wish to know how can the received bag be even considered as a replacement.
This seems to be a well planned strategy where no important information is documented. The rep. On phone claims she discussed all aspects with me on phone. The truth is she never listed the features or shortcomings of the replacement bag on email. It appears this process was deliberately followed so that i could be fooled.
My initial contact was on email so i expect all aspects to be discussed on email. These people are trying to show they discussed all aspects on phone and it is not true. Why will i agree to a replacement when it has so many features missing.
I would have never agreed to a lower capacity, non-laptop back had the matter be discussed over phone or email.
