[Resolved] Samsung India — complaint against service center for front loading washing machine | |||
We are residing at mayur vihar ph-2 & using all electronics gadgets like lcd 4 nos, washing machine, microwave, ac & refrigerator. When any of our know seeking advice on buying electronics we always recommend samsung as brand but with a recent experience on repair of our front loading washing fully automatic machine is pathetic & lost our trust in samsung. Details of the episode is as under :- We lodged complaint on 9th aug for error 4e i. E water was not in flowing in m/c & on 10th service engineer visited, inspected machine & stated that pcb is damaged & need to be replace with estimated cost of rs 4800/- we agreed to it. On 19th aug engineer named as rakesh replaced pcb with old one, tested empty m/c (Without load) & found that water problem was resolved thus taken the bill amount of rs 4688/-. (Bill attached) on the day later when we loaded m/c with cloths the observed that drum was not rolling as per the speed earlier it used to be i. E very slow movement. We again requested service center to check & rectify, they came checked in my presence & observed the same problem of slow drum movement than i asked them to replace & fit our old pcb wherein we found that drum started moving as per its original speed but earlier error of 4e was observed. The se agreed that new pcb is not ok thus has to be replaced, we agreed & after a week they came back with new pcb but the problem remained. Post tried new pcb they suggested to send m/c to workshop for proper check & on 3rd sep they sent back m/c from a transporter & charged freight @ rs 236, to our surprise m/c was not accompanied by a se, we tried the machine on our own & found the problem was persisting hence called up service center & informed about the same. Next day i. E on 4th sep se came & post examined he also taken a call to again send back m/c to service workshop. Since 4th sep we were chasing over phone to almost on all the numbers available with us & yesterday evening we got a call from service workshop stating that m/c drum have been replaced & we need to pay another rs 3666/-, on our query how this is possible they simply replied that if we want our m/c back we have pay the said amount. We spoke to mr. Thapa (A senior office of workshop he offered us a discount of 10% on the amount. Now our request to samsung authority to inquire on the above with the service center & revert on following points :- 1. The compensation of harassment faced by us during this one month. 2. We were forced to wash our cloths by hand & from loundary. 3. My wife has a fracture hand & because of inefficiency s. Engineers my wife should not be punished.
