[Resolved]  Samsung India — defective samsung refrigerator

I purchased a samsung refrigerator 4 months back from vijay sales, pune and it stopped cooling. I called samsung customer care and they sent a technician who told that the fridge's compressor has stopped working. He also said that it is very unusual that the compressor stopped working in just four months, normally there are no complaints for 5-10 years. I am now sure that i was sold a defected piece by vijay sales. I contacted both vijay sales and samsung to replace the defected piece but got no response other that "our senior will contact you in next 24 hours". It has been around a week that i have been following up with both but getting no response from either.

Feel free to contact anytime. We are living without fridge from last 1 week due to defected/faulty fridge delivered to us by Samsung and Vijay Sales.
I have asked Samsung for Fridge replacement as soon as possible, but I am not getting any proper response from their end.Please look into it at highest priority.My experience with Samsung Customer Care has been pathetic till now. I hope to get some positive response now.

I have to say that Samsung has a very pathetic and ignorant Customer Care. As I have written in my complaint, my refrigerator stopped working just 3 months after the purchase and a technician "Dhanraj"was sent to check the issue. He opened the entire fridge and checked all the wiring and in the end reported that the compressor is not working. In spite of my continuous request to replace the defected fridge I was told by one of the Samsung Customer Executive "Devyani" that, its just the compressor that needs to be replaced and no other part/wiring of the fridge will be touched.
So, today 21st November another "Ignorant" Samsung technician "Prathemesh" visited to replace the compressor and to no surprise he reported that the issue is not with compressor but some other part. It was quite evident that he had no knowledge about the fridge and was constantly consulting his head "Pawan" on what to do next. Opposite to what we were promised that our fridge wiring wont be touched again, he opened the entire fridge again and was not able to assemble it back properly. I am afraid instead of repairing it he has done more damage to the fridge. I have attached some of his photographs struggling with the wiring.

I am most annoyed that I wasted my morning twice waiting for my fridge to get repaired but all in vien. My impression of Samsung has been tarnished, and I am now concerned if my decision of purchasing a Samsung Refrigerator was wrong. Furthermore, Samsung technician's inability to detect the issue has meant that I Samsung is not at all concerned about its customers. It was a very unprofessional attitude.

I hope Samsung will take this seriously now and replace the defected fridge at the earliest. I look forward to hearing from you.
