[Resolved]  Samsung India — faulty product

Dear sir,

This is to bring to your notice that i purchased a samsung gear fit 2 pro smart watch serial no. R5ajc0940ek on 10th feb'2018 in new delhi, india. The product came with 1 year warranty, however, in the month of june 2018, the sensors of the watch stopped working and thus i submitted the product at samsung's main service centre in new delhi on 09.06.2018 for repairs.

The product was repaired and was returned to me on after a month, however, it broke down again in a week and when it was brought to the notice of the manager at the service centre (Mr. Ramandeep), i was assured that the product will be repaired soon and this problem will not occur again. However, the watch became defective again in september’2018. I gave it to the main service centre for repairs on 29.09.2018 and am yet to receive the repaired watch. The manager of the service centre now says that he gave me the guarantee of two days and not two months after its repairs in june’18 and so i must wait and he will have it repaired again, all the relevant documents namely purchase invoice and service requests are attached herein for your perusal.
As you can observe, out of the 7 months that i bought the product, i have been able to use it for four & half months only and rest of the time it has been with the samsung service centre. On asking for extended warranty or replacement/refund, it was denied by the customer support. Mr. Shahid from the customer support was unhelpful and blatantly refused giving me a replacement or refund even without listening to my problems.

I hope, it will be appreciated that it is very difficult for me to travel 40km to the service centre as also taking leave from the office to get the watch repaired each time it becomes defective.
Considering all above, i am quite disappointed with the product and would request you to ask samsung india to take the product back and refund my money at the earliest.

If, however, the refund is denied, i will be forced to initiate legal proceedings against the company.
