Samsung India — samsung galaxy on max

I purchased Samsung Galaxy on max which is under warranty.three days back I took to the service center at nungambakkam and was told that mother board is to be replaced and will not be covered under warranty.after multiple escalations I was offered 20percent discount.for no mistake of mine why should I pay?I had been a huge fan of Samsung Mobiles.I am very unhappy with their services.
