Sansui India — Faulty Device Provided by Third Party Vendor of Selling Sansui Product [Reliance Digital] | |||
This is to bring to your notice the faulty products sold by your vendor Reliance Digital, their condition, and customer support. Date of Incident: 27-Aug-2021 Vendor GSTIN: 29AABCR1718E1ZL Vendor: Reliance Digital - T Dasarahalli [Bangalore, Karnataka] Description: The Reliance Digital vendor upsold the Sansui TV [SANSUI 50 UHD SMART LED TV JSW50ASUHD] with a mega offer on the independence day by making an argument of getting bigger TV for a lesser amount and even had all the third party finance as a trap. There was no real product display and all things were upsold in comparison to other brands and pricing. Finally, all in all, the product delivered was faulty and nowhere near the Sansui Brand standards. The problem started the day after the product was installed where the TV automatically switched off at least 3 times and needs to be turned on manually. After contacting the vendor regarding this issue a technician was sent over within the 7 day period [Return Window] who reset the TV or software and nothing else was done by the vendor apart from this action. The technician was sent only because the vendor did not agree in the first place for a return/replacement of the product at this point in time. After few days the same issue is re-occurring and when reached out the vendor is trying to use the Return Window as an exploit or a defense which is 7 days and instructed that they would repair it and never replace it. This probably might cost me money or end up with a repaired/sub-standard product which is not at all fair in any aspect as a consumer. Moreover, since there is a third-party finance aspect involved in this case the vendor has an unfair hand in this situation. This is completely unacceptable for a consumer, provided that there was no damage done or product is not tampered with and a horrible experience due to such a mismanagement and lack of knowledge from vendor dealing with such a reputed brand. Purchase Date: 15th-Aug-2021 Delivery Date: 17th-Aug-2021 [As mentioned above no product/display model was available in the vendor outlet and delivery was promised the next day] Installation Date: 21st-Aug-2021 Problem Encountered Date: Within the week after installation [Before 28th-Aug-2021] Technician Attended: Within 2-3 days after the complaint was raised Desirable Solution Return of the Product and Refund of the amount paid Attaching TV Photos, Invoice, Call Logs, Message Copy, etc...
