Saraswat Bank — Home Loan - System Error | |||
My name is Aditya Bhide, the incident took place on 9th May 2021. The Katraj branch of Saraswat bank has deducted extra money from my bank account without notification. The loan EMI goes on 10th of every month. It is an auto debit, where the EMI amount from HDFC gets transferred to Saraswat bank saving account and then from there it goes to loan account. however there was a transaction triggered by the bank on 9th May, where they deducted the minimum balance which was kept to avoid penalties and gave me a auto notification of the debit transaction. This should not have happened as the transaction should be triggered on 10th of the month and not 9th of the month. Even today the transaction is not triggered from my HDFC bank and which has lead to lot follow-up with the bank and the corporate site. I have written a mail and tried calling the bank also multiple time, however there is no response from the bank branch. In these difficult times when people do not have jobs and we are still paying the EMI's, the least we expect the bank to be prompt in the communication, however that is not the case. Please do let me know a way forward from this situation and let me know if the error can be resolved. Was this information helpful? | |||
