SBI — denied providing statement

Hi,

I have a ppf account under sbi. Now i need a statement for filing itr. I am residing in kerala and this account was opened in haryana.
I requested sbi customer care to provide me a statement on my registered email id. They denied providing the same and asked me to contact the branch i opened this account.
On the other hand branch is asking me to come and have the passbook updated.
In their so called digital india this government bank is denying to provide me an e statement on my email. Neither they open any online ppf account.

I am unable to file itr just because of this now. Kindly help me in getting the bank statement.
