SBI maharajpur — Refund/Reimbursement of penalty amount due to non submission of RC book during Covid19 Pandemic

I Surender Kumar want to draw your attention towards the extra charges incurred in my car loan account on account of non submission of RC Book.

I hold the salary account with your Old Air Field Srinagar Branch IFSC Code: SBIN0005942 presently I am serving in the INDIAN AIR FORCE.

I took the car loan from SBI MAHARJPUR branch of the amount ₹4, 80, 000/- for the purchase of TATA Nexon from Tata Sub Motors C.F- 1/1-1/5, Harsha Compound, Site-II, Loni Road,

Industrial Area, Mohan Nagar, Ghaziabad in the month of February.

Now I have been charged extra penalty (Amount) on account of non submission of RC Book, but as Every one know that due to the country wide lockdown from the month of March due to COVID-19, none of the government offices including RTO office were not functioning and all the process regarding the registration were stopped with the immediate effect, beacuse of this registeration of TATA Nexon was not possible and in turn I was not able to submit the copy of RC Book of Car.

Now I has been payed the RTO Tax and already submit a copy of tax receipt and copy of RC book to the branch.

Moreover the government has issued the notification for the same that registration of vehicles may be done till 30 Dec 2020 for the vehicle purchased from February to till date with no extra charges and extra charges on account of late registration is also waived off in the same notification.

So I request the bank to waive of the extra charges incurred in my car loan statement on account of non submission of RC Book because the reason beyond my control.

Moreover I am also a centre Govt Employee and at that particular time given by bank due to country wide lock down I also stucked in my office and not able to complete the process of RC book as all the Office of RTO closed as per govt guidelines due to country wide lockdown.

Pls do the needful in this matter as soon as possible.
