[Resolved]  Sbt Online — NON-CLEARANCE OF MONTHLY PENSION ON TIME.

My Name is T.G.MOHAN KRISHNAN and I am a retired Central Govt. Defence Pensioner having Pension account in SBT Nemmara Branch (SBTR0000182) in which every month I have been credited with my eligible monthly pension on the last day of the month. Accordingly, I have authorised this Bank through SI to deduct certain monthly commitments on 1st of every month. Also I have certain monthly commitments payable on 1st like SBI Card etc. Due to non-receipt of pension on 30th Nov. I could not meet my commitments for which I am likely to be penalised with hefty amount for no fault of mine. Please look into the matter and arrange to remit my pension immediately. I have already waited till 3rd Dec. 2014. I have another complaint regarding intimation regarding credit position of my pension through SMS. Every Nationalised/ Private Bank have a system to intimate their customer through SMS for any transaction made in their saving banks account. Even SBI has the system. But only SBT is not following this. Since this is automatic and the account holder who is increasing day by day in every bank as per PM's Jan Dhan Yojna, it is easy for the account holders to get a message through SMS in their recorded mobile No. so that they need not to queue in the bank premises every time to know about each and every transaction. Hope my above grievance would be lookinto in true spirit and acted upon immediately.

So far I am well satisfied with the system of working by the Branch except for the SMS message I have not been getting for the transactions in my account. This is the first time, even my monthly pension has not been credited on time, causing acute embarassment to me due to failure to meet my commitments. This condition should be avoided in future at all costs because of the fact that all transactions are computerised these days and simplified unlike earlier times. Also it will help to continue keeping the faith with the Bank being a long time customer. Therefore, even a consideration of simply paying the interest for delay is not acceptable.
