SETC — 26 april 2019 - trip code#1700banche
Using my setc user credentials, i had booked ticket to travel on 26 april 2019. I’ve opted electronic city, nearby bmtc depot as my nearest pick-up point. I managed myself to be at pick-up point at least 15 minute before, and i reached accordingly. I waited for at least 120 minutes for a scheduled bus but i did not get a chance to locate the bus where it was. During this time, i tried contacting toll free number[protected] for multiple times to let them know my situation. It’s really helpless position where call did not connect and there was no contact number to reach for an assistance. By surfing through setc website, i spotted one more helpline number #[protected], unfortunately they support user quires about bus service but only bank related ones. I was completely disappointed with the service provided by setc. Fortunately, it was not an emergency situation for me to reach chennai if at all then it would have been different case of trustworthy of service provided by tamil nadu government.
I personally feel that private bus services are upgraded and they being in touch with user at least charging extra fair by facilitating additional amenities. But in setc perspective, they’re best in their service than anybody else. I would never prefer such a service in my life time and never recommend to anyone personal aid too. This is the extremist experience of setc bus service.
On 28 april 2019 around 1900hrs i went to cmbt to escalate the problem faced on friday. Platform number #6 where setc officials located. I explained in detail manner of my concern however, they looked and said bus serviced wasn’t deployed on friday at all, and there is no prior/later communication to those reserved users. They have taken it granted and suggested to report this issue with depot which is situated at the end of platform#6. While passing through the way, i had a chance check with group of drivers of setc. One of the driver told that these setc officials play such ping-pong game to deviate the issue on one another. But conclusively, he asked to raise this constraint through online instead of wasting time in with such helpless officials. At least i have got oral support from the driver who was looked me badly exposed victim. Here i am publishing details of my booked ticket evident to you, which helps me to get my money back.
