Today being a sunday i visited shanti gopal hospital's emergency ward for one subcutaneous and one intramuscular injection... I shared priscription with the nurse and shared specifications on dosage, while she prepared injections the other staff asked me to wait near bed, but suddenly saw this nurse filling entire three days hormones dosage in one injection and asked that some bit is still left in the bottle will use bigger syringe, when i panicked she hurried and transferred back to the bottle and wasted one unit... Then on pretext of removing air from injection she wasted another unit injection g lesser than priscribed dosage... When i brought this entire episode to the notice of doctor on duty he did nothing but offering a casual hear to scene... The profession demands utmost sincerity especially in emergency wards. But today i was so disgusted and mentally disturbed thinking all the lives these bunch of ill trained medical staff at shanti gopal hospital are playing with... God knows what would've happened with me if this nurse would have given me triple dose of strong follicle stimulating hormones... I'm still hopeful two unites less in my body today won't hamper my second and last attempt for having a child through ivf... I want justice for myself and all the others who trust these people with their lives Was this information helpful? |
