I got a call from shine representative asking whether i am looking for a job. She then connected me to a senior who's name happens to Nitin. He told me i need to pay 4577 for registering which i did. Later, he connected me to a person who was supposed to be my profile handler and she the. Said my education, experience need to be verified after which a presentation needs to be prepared which would be shared with overseas recruiter. She then mailed me saying that i need to pay more 5192. So I told her I was not informed about the same she said it's for education varification. I told her that i will not pay anything more then this she said i dont need to so i payed 5192/-. She said education varification done and the. She said experience needs to be verified for which she sent me another mail invoice saying that i need to pay more 8300/-
I was angry as she had mentioned that i need not pay more. I questioned her asking why are the details not given to the clients in advance? For which she replied accounts people have to generate it at the same time. I once again asked her "Do I need to spend more after this payment" she said no this is last and the profile would be completed. I payed the amount 8300/- and she said the profile is complete. A minute later she sends another mail invoice saying that i need to pay 14000/- for the preparation of presentation. I was absolutely furious about the same. I told her I am not interested and i need my money back. I then called Nitin and asked him that why aren't you giving the breakout of the cost incurred at every step to the client? He said we can't do that. I know it was my mistake to trust "Shine" and i dont know whether i will get my money back. But I want to highlight that Shine job portal is fooling and looting people.
