[Resolved] Shine.com — closure of account & unsolicited phone calls | |||||
Registered with the website. Started receiving irrelevant calls asking if i wanted a job. I then wrote to shine asking to close my account and removal of all details from their database. They wrote back saying that it cant be done. I don't believe you have any right to hold my account active, after i have written to you asking for closure. Please close with immediate effect. Kindly change your account settings to “NOT GET ANY MARKETING EMAIL/SMS” on the account. Under Privacy Status and Email Subscription Status, you can tick on 'hide your name and contact details'. Dear all, pls be very cautious in paying money to the recruiters calling from shine.com. I faced two fraud calls asking for money the last two days and really really it is 100 percent fake..
