[Resolved] Shine.com — complaint about unanticipated charges by shine.com and refund of amount of rs. 4, 683 | |||
Sir, This is to bring to your notice that i paid an amount of rs.4, 683/- to shine.com to avail paid job consultancy services. At first, i was asked (By ms. Annu) to pay it as a charge to highlight my profile and forward it to the concerned companies (Only mncs) so that the recruiters can call me directly. After that they told me that they are forwarding my call to some senior official, mr. R. Rana, who further asked me to pay an additional charge of rs. Rs.-6838/- against "job profile verification plus package 2". I was not told that i may need to pay further amount to avail the offer. On asking the first person who contacted me (Ms. Anu), she told me that she was not aware about the process of verification or the amount that i need to pay as it was the responsibility of the senior officer (Mr,. R rana). And mr. Rana told that they could not disclose this because of their privacy policy. I want to get my money refunded (Rs.4, 683/-), because while explaining the paid services offer of shine.com, a person should be informed completely so that he/she can take decisions accordingly. I paid the total amount of rs. 4683 thinking it to be the final price of availing the offer. But all of a sudden, without any prior information and out of nowhere, you are asked to pay additional fees for verification process. This is something really unacceptable. I believe i should have been given the complete information. Disclosing the total payable amount is in no way, breach of privacy terms, rather, what they have done, it is the breach of customer trust. My name is pankhury tyagi I paid the amount through netbanking and the transaction id is in20190521_203213_105438.
