[Resolved] Shine.com — hidden facts of paid services.. refund my money! | |||||
My name is bhawna tongaria and today i made a call to shine and showed interest for the paid services. I was told by mr shishir that there is a annual fee of rs 3691. He explained me the features of the paid services and steps of the process. After that my request was transferred to mr. Ranjan who told me that there are further steps to initiate the process. I was asked to pay verification fees of rs 6000. He kept on telling me the next steps of the services but in the entire conversation none of the executive told me the that every next step is payment based and there is a no choice to opt out. Once i paid rs 6000, he told further told me there is another verification of education and sending you the link please complete the request. Step by step he asked me to complete the request which was actually making the payment for the services. All the executives mr shishir, ranjan and pankaj have very well articulated the features of these paid services 'that please complete' the request' but none of them told me the cost associated which is to be paid at every step. Why i was not told at the first instances that the entire package would cost me 30-40k?? Below are the services which were explained to me but with the hidden fact that is cost associated with them: Job referral booster package = rs 3, 691 paid Job profile verification plus package = rs 6, 101 paid Education verification plus package + job search guidance with job thought report = rs 10, 259 paid Issue focused negotiation training course = rs 17, 700 pending Was it really difficult for the executives to tell me in advance that approximate cost of the package for a person of 9-10 years of experience. I am feeling so cheated and trapped and suspect that i can be further charged forcefully by just mentioning that 'its a process and we have to follow as per your profile'. This is so annoying and i would really like to withdraw back from the services. Kindly initiate the refund process.
