I have SBI Credit Card, I received a call from this Mob no.([protected]) from Master and Visa Verification Department at SBI on 11-Sep-2015. He (executive) told me that SBI Bank will Issue a new master Micro Chip Card on behalf of my existing Credit card. So first Bank Debit the charge of Rs.-9000 (Same is already been debited) but he assured that it will be adjusted through reward points and the same amount will be credited to my account before generating my bill. I was hesitating to provide OTP but somehow i given OTP. immediately my account got debited with Rs.9000. I immediately realized somthing fraud happened and I reacted quickly to reach SBI. I given the whole scene to them and got my card blocked. Thea transaction is yet to be claimed by the merchant. They SBI told me that I would raise complaint when the transaction is caimed for settlement. I wonder how they(Frauds) get my details. Please guide me what should I do further?

Oh my God. I think I have been cheated too. For the same 9000 Rs and I got call from the same numbers.
I think all o[censored]s should try and take some action against SBI and the fraud team. How can the bank act so ridiculously by just sending a common reply mail. They very well know that so many customers like us have been facing this issue and they are still keeping quiet and not taking any action against them. A nationalised bank like SBI is being so lathargic about such fraud issues. I got a call from these two numbers and they had all my card details thats why I was forced to beleive that they were calling from SBI

I m satabdi singh from baran, Rajasthan. I received a call from a girl call pooja regarding sbi card. She said she is from SBI.she asked me for sbi card verification and asked me for otp and cvv no. She told me that i have reward point. I innocently told her otp and cvv no and then deducted 8052 rupees from my card. I have been informed that i will receive a shoes and shirt . The amount is deducted in the name of www.epaykerala.com. i need my amount to be refund immediately. I m in trouble so much.

Me too cheated.. the call from [protected]. I blocked my card.. and raised a complaint and sent dispute form over the mail... the complaint id :-1-[protected]. the reply of the mail as like below

We acknowledge receipt of your mail and have taken note of the transaction dispute raised to us. We are working on the same and shall revert to you in 5 days on the documents required from your end/ status of the case. Please note that the maximum time for closure of such disputes is 120 days from date of receipt of dispute form, as we are dependent on external feedback such as acquiring banker.

While we try to do our best to resolve the dispute at the earliest, we request you to bear with us in the interim.

We request you to take note of the following important points:


a) All transaction disputes are resolved as per the VISA/MasterCard guidelines. We will keep you updated on the status of this dispute as well as any further requirements.

b) You are advised to remit payment toward the disputed transaction amount to avoid levy of charges on the card account

c) The same will be settled post completion of the investigation. In case of resolution of the dispute in favor of the cardholder, any charges levied on the disputed transaction during the period of investigation will be reversed.

I have just faced the same issue today (11 Dec 2015). Got a call from number ([protected]), but fortunately i haven't shared my OPT. I just yelled at him, this is not the process of banking and hang up the call and immediately blocked his number.

i am facing the similar problem now. the transaction is not claimed by the merchant

Today i received the call from this number[protected]. He introduced himself as sbi card section, senior official. He said that sbi offers platinum credit card with rs.70, 000/- limit to the valuable customers. And he also said that the card will be reach me by within 5 to 7 working days. Before that we need to verify my original identity, so he asked the debit card number and date of expiry details.

Luckily today i just forgot my purse into my home. He asked me to keep the card in my hand on wednesday and wednesday morning he will call me back.

I don't know how this getting the business people's number and cheating them easily. I dont why any of the government / cyber crime officials take action against this type of culprits and save the people and their money!!!

Anyway, please dont share any of your banking details with anyone!!! Thanks to all!!

I am using SBI credit card .My self also cheated by a phone call no[protected] a lady named POOJA on 22 nd april 2016 calling from sbi card HO saying that we have to renew our reward points since it is expiring to day For that. they asked credit card details and OTP also. immediatly my account was debitded RS9000 at Shop Mantraa_EPayKerala. next minit i have receivrd acall from SBI TOLL FREE no asking me whether i have made any transations using SBI card . i said no. then told told it is fag . then only i have realised i was cheated. so please advise for further steps for recovering my amount

Recieved a call from ([protected]) asking for verification of sbi card and that bonus point will be added to account, said something like (inr 7762)international number of rewards will be debited from a/c and will be tallied in bonus, never i entertain to such calls, this day is bad luck and worst, gave all the password, as soon as the sms came back saying an amount of rs 7762 is purchased, i called up the toll number and blocked the payment within 1/2 hr time.Also reported to the sbi bank at local resident.
Payment gateway agents are having access to most information.

I also faced a similar issue on 27th April 2016. My account has been debited with that amount. What a be done now? I received a call from [protected].

I am also faced similar issue on May 10 2016. They have got all my card details. But i realized some point of time and i escaped from the last OTP. Luckily, the amount was not debited. I have got call from [protected]. Will i face any issues in future with that details? Please advice.

We are just tell you that ShopMantra and ShopMantra epaykerala both are the different Companies.We not sell any products on own Site right now and we are using any gateway.
