[Resolved]  Simplilearn — Misinformation, Delay and Fraud

I enrolled with Simplilearn Online bootcamp (Data Analytics) on 7th October 2022 paying an amount of 42000 INR. I had approached for Business Analytics program, but the executive said its combined with Data Analytics. As I come from a non-IT/technical background, I was skeptical to go ahead with this. But to their assurance I took leap of faith. They assured me everything will be taught from scratch and there is no prerequisite. The first day-8th October 2022, they put me in a running mid-way batch. With multiple technical issues. After complaining the same, they gave me other dates, but the technical issue part was not acknowledged at all. Rather the guy who spoke to me on call suggested me to upgrade the program with even higher cost. The same issues were followed in next date as well. I had already started getting a bitter experience to which I demanded a refund which was simply denied. They gave me excuses like their policies and expired time of asking a refund. With no hope of getting my hard-earned money, I decided to take the classes from 3rd December 2022. After taking two sessions, I realized the course is just not relevant to me and it required more of technical/command knowledge. And this time, I could not bear this misinformation. I called the same executive who got me enrolled to this program and to this day as I draft this complain he never answered my call and neither called me back. Did not reply to any of my emails or texts. I went on speaking to multiple executives stating the same story repeatedly but no help. I requested either to give me refund or gave me a course swap. After plethora of calls and emails finally I was told if the next course I opt exceeds the existing course (worth 42K) then I will have to pay extra money but in case the new course costs lesser than existing course Simplilearn will not give me single penny back. Absurd, isn’t it? I still wanted to continue thinking something is better than nothing. I made several calls and wrote many emails and finally I received a confirmation that I am eligible for the course swap. But no further details were given on same. I kept on waiting for a long time, yet no one reached out to me. I chased again and then one of the executives writes back to me that course swap is not possible in my case after already receiving a confirmation on email. I had already lost my patience by now. I wrote them so many emails to which they say someone will reach out to me. They again sent an email on 13th January 2023 saying I am eligible for course swap and someone from team will reach out to me within 24-48 hours. Till date I have heard nothing from no one. No details no call back. I wanted to start a course in First week of October, due to their negligence I have lost my money and most importantly almost 4 months as well. I kindly plead you to intervene in the case and assist me regarding the same. I do not wish to go ahead with this program now unless they return my extra money and start the course immediately.
