I've had my RS245 for nearly 3 years, never missed a beat and I talk up the Škoda brand far and wide on how great they are, or should I say were!!!
My car had a gearbox fail in late November, and I had it towed to my local dealer for repair. Škoda Roadside Assist, brilliant. They sorted the tow and then organised a rental car for me for 10 days whilst mine was being repaired.
Unfortunately there was not a gearbox in Australia for my car and one is being shipped from Europe, due in early January 2021.
Škoda Roadside Assist told me to talk to Škoda Australia to sort out a loan vehicle for after I return the rental car.
On the 7th Dec I emailed Škoda Australia through their portal on what has happened to my car through a warranty issue. After repeated calls to follow up what is being organised, I got an email on the 15th Dec to say “we understand the request is urgent and will provide an update on the loan vehicle as soon as possible”
Really, after 8 phone calls and speaking to friendly staff that understand and apologies for the inconvenience and promise that my case manager will contact me, all I get is one email response!!!
I have now been without a car for 6 days under a warranty issue, what does a person need to do to get assistance, this has definitely changed the way I would ever talk about the Škoda brand in the future Was this information helpful? |
