[Resolved] Skoda India — Breakdown and warranty issues | |||
Hi, i have skoda rapid model from 2015. It is still under warranty. On 7 june i could not start my car. There was burnt smell as i tried to start the car. Somehow it started later. Car was taken to Viraj skoda pune where they replaced battery under warranty. 3-4 Days later, again i could not start car, road side assistance adviced to take car to service station. Service centre diagnosed starter motor failure possibly due to multiple cranckling. This issue is not under warranty as per skoda policy. However this is purely due to battery issue and starter issue was not diagnosed when battery was replaced. car.it was like battery issue leading to cranckling which led to starter motor failure. This should have been covered under warranty. There will not be multiple cranckling if car starts in first attempt. Not sure if issue is with skoda or with service centre but this is disappointing. Skoda is not trustworthy and i should have opted for honda or toyota. Was this information helpful? | |||
