i am a seller on snapdeal. i sold many products on snapdeal. but, did not get any payment from snapdeal. no response from them. snapdeal did not only fooling the buyers, also they are fooling the sellers as well. i get a so much loss of money and my hard work to deliver products to buyers. snapdeal gets a wonderful profit from it. but, i did not get anything else i get a huge loss. please take a severe action against them. my seller id - s713df company name - opticare. please don't buy and sell anything on snapdeal.

SNAPDEAL boldly declares, "Please share your seller ID at "[email protected]" but this is just an eye-washing or brain-washing or an utterly cunning/shrewd technique of Snapdeal. Why such strong vehemence? I challenge you : You try writing something to "[email protected]". The next moment, you will receive an automated reply, "We are no longer handling queries sent to this email address - '[email protected]' " !!! This is happening several years !!!

We too faced a similar fraud by Snapdeal. I believe its some sort of Scandal being done by SNAPDEAL to cover up their losses, wherein they just hold the payment of New/small sellers for some or the other reason.
we register with snapdeal ( Seller ID S6c3cc ) to sell Dress material ( VAT Exempted). At the time of registration we double checked VAT/TIN requirment as it was confirmed by snapdeal that Dress material category is VAT exempted and we can go ahead and start selling on SNAPDEAL. We started well and within a span of week or so processed & successfully delivered 4-5 order & our rating was 5/5. When we send reminder mail for release of payment, snapdeal updated us since there is some change in Snapdeal policies & now they would require VAT registration to release our payment. Now our payment of approx 5-6 K is stuck with SNAPDEAL. we send Numerous mails to sellers help as well as our account manager and the only reply we got to submit VAT/TIN no. We also got different replies to our mail, once they said your payment will be released on such and such date, once they said your DVAT no is blocked while we are based out of punjab e.tc. We check with our CA if there is any change in govt norms in terms of exemption but there had been no change in govt policy. So its a clear case of fraud by snapdeal to goble up our money.
So after numerous mails to snapdeal we finally decided to close our ac and donate the amount to snapdeal as charity. We would like to warn all seller esp startup/small seller to stay away from snapdeal due to their fraudulent sellers policies.

I am a new seller of snapdeal, i listed some products on snapdeal. After few days I got 4 orders one by one. We dispatched 4 orders. After few days they returned 2 products with reasons packing is not proper. Its was not big deal but after few days I got bill of amount double that I delivered. I read the bill, they said as per our policy we charge for returned product and also they charge for out of stock. The problem is not with they charge me, but problem is they charge this much( they charged 3 times i delivered/got orders.

Snapdeal cheat me, now final condition is they accepted order for amount 3600, and I my due payment to snapdeal is 6200!!! Which is very big shock for all sellers.

Dear business men, don't sell on snapdeal, it will give you only loss.

I had partnered with Snap-deal as an e-commerce seller which is going to be needed by all potential Buyers .But It was my biggest Mistake and worst move to associate my self with Snap Deal which completely lacks ethics.

This revenue generation cannot be only for Snap-deal. We never made money out of it and bearing enough loss by frequent returns and late shipments, In fact, we had borne losses to bear the operational costs. But under such circumstances any pending payment from you over the months then it becomes despairingly frustrating.

Its a platform to dupe sellers and customers. Lacks ethics and integrity. Pick up never happens on time you guys cancelled the orders spoiled ratings and frequent returns and we received Rs 100 saree where original item was shipped worth Rs 4000/- and many more issues.

I am sure its a syndicate of organised fraud by SNAPDEAL to cover up their losses, wherein they just hold the payment of New/small sellers for some or the other reason.
I registered with snapdeal to sell dress material in women's Clothing which is VAT Exempted. We started well and within a span of week or so processed & successfully delivered 11-13 orders & rating is 4.2/5.

When payment was not released after 3 cycles, we mailed them and snapdeal updated us since there is some change in Snap-deal policies & now they would require VAT registration to release our payment. Now my payment of approx 15-20k is stuck with SNAPDEAL. I have written and called sellers help as well as our account manager and the only reply we got to submit VAT/TIN no.

We also got different replies to our mail,


I was informed by my manger under a promotional scheme no marketing fees will be levied up to 25 orders now they had deducted all marketing fees and refuse to pay reversal.

Let’s acknowledge nobody appreciates pursuing or getting pursued for money. I am writing this email after following up with your team about my pending payment status

I have made my inventory zero and want my money back . I have even decided to take this matter to legal help and social platforms.

my payment of RS 3, 00, 000 /- also was blocked by the snapdeal, snapdeal is doing cheating with us, i am in totally in loss

as a student this is my hard worked earned money for last 3 years, this was my saving, i sold items on snapdeal and they cheated, contact +[protected],
This a do or die situation, as i lost my last 3 years saving, waiting for next 5-7 days, or as a part Time SEO and web developer
i gonna promote Snapdeal, Sorry Snapdeal, upto that working for papers/ proofs,

this comment can be shown in court if snapdeal does not reply for the same, here,

i declared that i did not received approximate 3 lack rupees from snapdeal for my sold item, and snapdeal is keeping money received from buyers against sold item by me.

issue is that snapdeal commit that they have complaint for fake products whose percentage is 0.56% that means 1 out of 200 orders, We called the concerned and we demanded proof that describe fake product but did not received on email upto now

as a seller every body understand this, this is commonly fault a buyer end.

Warning Warning Warning ALL NEW AND currently sellers on snapdeal, if you are selling do not invest do much, put Rs 10, 000 and wait for payment, if you cross the limit of aprox 2lack then they can shut your account defining any reason
and most impotent they will not release your payment defining some stupid reason. THIS IS A SCAM

also find snapshot for the sent email, resolve the issue, activate my account, or atleast you need to release my three lac 3, 00, 000 Rupees against product sold on snapdeal,

Yes True they are big cheeters ..I am one of the sellers of snapdeal. They cheated me holded my payments stating recoveryof 2 yrs. back l. since last 2 years i amcontinously working with SD but now i think their business is not happening so by fraud intentions theyare holding the vendors payments and claiming that they are going to increase the sellers upto 10 L. In rajastan nobody is ready to work with them as toeach and everyone they have done the same thing and they can hold any payments at any time.

I think giving 1 star is too high for them we must give them negative rating and beware sellers selling on snapdeal

By looking complaint over this websites "consumercomplaints", it`s look like that snapdeal is one of the biggest Fraud Company.

Same thing happened with me, they stopped my payment approx 8.5 Lakh., even if they are not ready to talk . Also they are not ready to show any evidence.

My seller code is S83ACD.

Please let me know what need to be done by me to recover my hard money from Big Cheater " Snapdeal".
