[Resolved]  Snapdeal.com — fraud message and call for prize tata safari 1st prize

If you all have no connection with these callers then you most probably either sell user data or maybe even take money from them to fraud people otherwise how is it possible that the frauds call and tell us our exact name with the product details and say that we have won 1st or 2nd prize. I think its a case to be fought in court then?, User Data is being sold then?

Why dont snapdeal take action against those who are using Snapdeal name . Some details provided in picture may help you.

I got this message from snapdeal, is it truly from snapdeal or is it fraud one.

I also received same SMS today.
Expecting SanpDeal to take action on this (Instead of asking customer for police complaint) because you are responsible for leakage of our personal data to Fraud company.
If no action taken, I may raise police complaint against Snapdeal because you are not activing on concern raised.

Even i received same message from snap deal its a trap for people and its ridiculous that our personal information is shared with others.

Hello Sir,

I have received one envelop on yesterday i.e[protected]. There is a letter, one winner certificate of winning Rs. 1, 00, 000.00 and one scratch card of Rs. 10, 00, 000.00 with Snapdeal name and logo. One helpline number was mentioned there [protected]. I talked with them and they told me to send my name, received letter ref. no. and the scratch card sms code on sms to above mentioned number. I have sent all those thereafter they called me to send my bank account number, ifsc code, bank name and branch name. I have also sent sms to above mentioned number. They told me the amount Rs. 11, 00, 000.00 will credited to my account on this Monday i.e[protected].

As per my understanding with reference to the voice and way of talking of the person whom I talked with above mentioned number is 100% fraud agency. But how can that agency got my information i have provided with Snapdeal. It means snapdeal system is not full proof to maintain the confidentiality of customer data base.

I would like to request to Snapdeal to investigate the agency who are doing fraud in the name of Snapdeal and upgrade the system so that customer's information shouldn't be shared with any third party fraud agency.

Now a days its very easy to investigate with above mentioned number belongs to whom and tracking actual user who is talking. But it is possible if Snapdeal wish to investigate else customer will not trust Snapdeal.

How our personal data is exactly getting leakage to fraudsters from your system that we have given into your system during registration.

I got a phone call as well as an sms saying I won tata Safari or in cash 12, 50, 000/-. Asking for a deposit of Rs. 3, 500/- in a bank account which bank account holder name is Mr vikram kumar A/C-[protected] ifsc code sbin0000300(SBI). The person who contacted me send even his service ID as well as his Adhaar card. I'm enclosing all this documents for your reference. Please do the needful. So that innocent people don't suffer.

Lol. Customer care is not reading the messages. Just copy pasting 😛

How these fraudsters got my information ?

As I see above posts, It looks these fraudster are operating freely from almost 1 year.
It is snapdeal's responsibility to catch these fraudsters but looks snapdeal has no interest in protecting cunsumer's data.

[protected] (snapdeal head office alipore kolkata)

I am not sure if these names are real but they called me with these names.

They shared below accounts for money transfer:

SNAPDEAL Pvt.Ltd. Company

Are these snapdeal's bank accounts ?
