Dear sir, This is to bring to your notice that i have been recently pulled into a fraudulent act in which travel company “snow travel club (http://www.snowtravelclub.com/)” has looted inr 25, 000/- from me towards family travel trip to tirupati. On the day of booking i was communicated that the trip will cost total of 25, 000/- (Inclusive of taxes) which will include stay and site seeing. I made the complete payment of inr 25, 042/- into company account [protected] (Equitas small finance bank), below are the details for the transfer Payment date amount transferred to 19-feb-19 6000 paytm number: [protected] 22-feb-19 4000 paytm number: [protected] 22-feb-19 7500 from hdfc a/c: [protected] to equitas small finance bank[protected] 25-feb-19 75042 from hdfc a/c: [protected] to equitas small finance bank a/c[protected] Today morning (Dated 26-feb 2019) i received a call from the travel company asking me to pay 6000/- more for the trip failing to meet their original commitment of 25042/-. The reason quoted was earlier quote in no more workable. I requested them to cancel the booking and refund me back the entire amount of inr 25, 042/- but they said cancellation will attract approx 33% cancellation charges. With this in background i want to officially lodge a complaint against everyone who are involved in this fraudulent activity. It seems this is the business model where they initially make a false commitment, later fall back and inappropriately hoard hard earned money of common people on the name of cancellation charges. I am sure there must be several more instances which will come to light if detailed investigation conducted in this regard. Go to know that some body took the effort of bringing this incidence to light. As about me not being a tachy i did'nt got many options, but now I see.
I made booking for down sound and almost the same story happened with me.
I was pushed to make the entire amount in advance on the name of heavy discount. I was told if I make the payment earliest date I will get 10% discount.
Once I made the payment I got a call from a representative explaining the package has changed. And I was also told if I have to persure ahead I will be required to pay 10, 000/- more.
I was really shatterred to know this as I saved the money bit by bit for my family trip and now they demanded for more money.
Eventually I cancelled the tour ending up with heavy loses.

Nothing will happen. Now a days there are many fraudulent who are active online and this site is one of them. This fraudies are taking advantage of technologies. Also there quotation are changing like share prices.

Exactly, the same things happened with one of my closest friend. This travel company “SNOW TRAVEL CLUB (http://www.snowtravelclub.com/)” cheated them as well and deniying to give the refund. Today, we were discussing about this matter to file a complain on this forum and coincidently, we found another user who got beaten up by the same travel company.
I would say, this is not snow travel but stobe travel as we got beaten up by them.
I would request the consumer complaints team, please take an appropriate action on this travel company.

Had bad experience when contacted them for travel 2-3 times, they not stick to their commitments their quoted price vary day by day

What about remaining 3 days where you committed to cover Kanchipuram and Pondicherry. The total tour cost was 25, 042/ to cover all 4 places (that covers site seeing and stay)

Thanks for accepting that you have taken payment of 25042, but the way you are defending your self is incorrect because you have taken 25042 and given booking of around 6000 and demanding extra money for remaining booking.

On the day of booking i was communicated that the trip will cost total of 30, 000/- (Inclusive of taxes) which will include hotel stay and site seeing.
I made the complete payment of inr 30, 000/- into company account (Equitas small finance bank a/c no[protected], below are the details for the transfer.
Payment date amount transferred to
14-feb-19 1000 paytm number: STC0057
21st feb 14000 paytm number:STC0065
1st March 19 10, 000 with ref STC0074
And last 5th March 19 5000/- with ref no STC5975 from my Yes bank a/c: [protected] to fraud a/c as bank details mention above
Eveving on (5th March 19) I have received massage from Mukesh sales person from payment for pay more GST amount around 5400 for the trip failing to meet their original commitment of 30, 000-. The reason quoted was earlier quote in no more workable.
Post that nitier I have received any call or email or massage for booking confirmation.
Even I hade ask for cancellation. They ware saying, , 33 per will be diducted, or pay full funds and take the booking voucher.
That's the reason I paid full amount but, it's seems to be a big big trape for "snow travel club"
With this in background i want to officially lodge a complaint against everyone who are involved in this fraudulent activity.
