i bought sony ericsson j120i hand set, n it didnt worked for even a single day.and i have visted the service centre for atleast 10 times , at its service center both at hoshiarpur and chandigarh.
but they just reinstall the s/w then it work for few hour and then again hang up, ia ma very much frustrated with the service so i havve now decided to go to the consumers ,court

    i have purchased sony ericsson W580i from sony ericsson outlet in indore,but new pice is defective (key paid break and heating problem) than i have submitted this phone to sony erisson customer care.......they commit me to replace new pice against this one..with in 7 days ....now thay replace with old one thay also have problem of key break and heating....misbehave and mis talk by exicutives.......so what can i do against company frade.....please never buy sony ericsson

        I have a SE W810i cell phone. I bought it just less than 4 months ago. Already there was a problem with the phone. When I gave it to the Sony ericsson authorised service centre at Jayanagar I block, bangalore they told me that it will take 10 days to deliver the phone. I had given it on 6th OCT 2007. Whenever I call them they tell me that the "phone will be ready tomorrow". I just want to know when will this tomorrow come. The service centre personnel say that there is a mother board problem. Till this day I have not had any proper response. What guarantee can sony ericsson give us regarding their motherboards that dont even last for 4 months?
        So overall, the cell phone is not good & also the service is hopeless.

        I lost my sony ericsson w810i model mobile while coming from office in BEST bus.
        I have IMEI number of that phone, I called up my service provider to deactivate my number.
        Is there any way to get back my same phone even after the thei[censored]ses other simcard ?????
        If there is no way to get it back, kindly let me know how to make the phone useless.

            I have a Sony DCR HC 42 E camcorder with the LCD screen not working..from various forums i found that this is a common problem associated with DC 42 Sony cam and lots of Sony customers are having the exact same issue with their camcorders..can i get a solution other than paying 2000Rs for a known issue with Sony camcorders...

              Sony Ericsson — cell phone not working

              i have se w350i cell phone. i purchase this dis on 28/7/2008. on 21/3/2009 my my cell phones was not working. I check battery, but is all right. when i switch on my cell phone its not working...so what can i do?
              I have purhcased a sony ericsson mobile and the same given trouble so many times and repaired from your authorities reparing centre. Since then the same has not working properly. It is therefore, requested to please advise your Jaipur repairing centre to repair/replace the same.

              Hi,
              I have purchase one mobile handset of S312 from Sony Ericsson retailer at Bhubaneswar since last two months back.
              There is some crack found in the keypad of that set after opening and asked for replacement/service but Sony Ericsson denied for that and suggested "Whatever you want to do against Sony Ericsson you can do and wherever want to go you can go".
              We are not going to replace it though it is under Warranty.

                  I purchased SE W300i on October 20, 2006. It worked well for almost a year, but when I tried to turn on the handset on September 30, 2007, it did not start. It screen was turning white and black alternatively.
                  I took the handset to the SE company repair center at Ripon Street, Calcutta. They took the handset giving me the memory card back and asked me to collect it in 3 days. No temporary mobile was given to me. My work/ job number was E32WK[protected]. When I called[protected] them on Oct 6, 2007 they told me that it would take a few days more and I should call them back later to check its status.
                  I have been keeping "checking status" since then.
                  The behavior of the service center people is really disappointing. There is some APARAJITA who hangs up the call at the middle of discussion. Sometimes they keep me on hold for almost 4-5 minutes. Sometimes they refer me to TANIA MITRA/ MOITRA, who is supposed to be handling my case, but unfortunately she is never "AT HER DESK". Sometimes they ask me to call a different number, but none receives those calls.
                  When I deposited the phone at the service center, it was under warranty period - but it is not anymore. Though they have confirmed that I would not have to pay for the repair since it was "deposited" in warranty period, I seriously doubt their honesty. I will be absolutely helpless if they charge me some huge amount.
                  I am a student and it is not possible for me to travel to the repair center every now and then. Needless to mention that I am depending on my friends' telephones. W300i took all my savings for years and it is impossible to buy a new phone. There is also possibility of having the same problem with a new phone anyway.

                  I agree what Mr.Pubkri saying is corrrect...Even im also facing the same problem in COimbatore service center...
                  I have just given my handset sonyericsson k750i to the same service centre. On this Saturday i.e. 17-May-08. it was load shedding so they have given me a receipt of my handset and asked me to call at 3 pm so that I can get my case no. but when I called they confirm it. But didn't given me any case no. till yet and asked me to call them back on Thursday. Now I am really worried as till now I haven't got the estimated price and more I don't even have any case no. What to do now. please help me.

                      HI, i am using sony ericsson T230 model from last two years onwards, recently i got a contact like this..
                      I have a contact with no name(it means it has saved with a space chracters) in that i have a number like this 5200. in Home,Work and Mobile, when i am going to delete it throughing an error like 'Failed', and also when i am going to give any other name in the space text it's not taking this is also gives an error 'Failed'.

                      what might be the problem is this any virus, how i got into this my mobile......

                          SALORA has undertaken the Sony Ericsson service and the Lamington Road Service Center is operated by them. I submitted my Sony Ericsson K750i phone to the service center in July with the help of my friend. I had purchased the K750i phone on 25th August 2006 from Wonder Collections, Kalyan West and the phone is still in warranty.

                          The main joystick of my phone stopped working suddenly in mid-July.But all other functions are working till date. I operated the phone using numbers for some days thinking that it may be a temporary fault and later submitted it to the service center.

                          However, till date the phone has not been repaired. Its almost one month now and when my friend asked for the phone the service center replied that the phone's joystick has stopped working due to physical damage and waterlogging inside the phone.

                          How can they say that the just the joystick has allergy of water despite the fact that all other buttons and functions of the phone are working seamlessly. They discovered the fault after one month.

                          SALORA is a pathetic service center and now they are demanding 8500 rupees for replacing entire circuit board.

                          SONY ERICSSON PLEASE MAKE A NOTE OF THIS, YOU ARE LOSING CUSTOMERS DUE TO PATHETIC SERVICE. Nokia is better than you people , they have more service centers and intelligent people.

                          i had given my k750i at your vasai service center on the 4 of jan 2008. under warranty my battery was to be replaced.the complaint for the same was made on the same day under complaint id: ses08tnj10025 and the battery (old one)was taken away saying that the same would be replaced within 2 days, but today igot arude shock when i found out that salora intl. does not have spare batteries in mumbai . this is the state of affairs of SONY ERICSSON.

                          This is abhijit lele again. Finally SALORA service centre had agreed kee it was their fault and the phone was not waterlogged at any point of time. I received the phone (actually my friend collected it on my behalf) and I didnt pay a penny for repairing.

                          I hope you will provide the same level of service to each n every sony customer. I suggest ppl not to buy K750i as the joystick stops working suddenly.

                            Dear Sirs,
                            I purchased a Sony laptop through PC World
                            nearly a year ago based on Sony's reputation of reliability and
                            performance, the laptop I selected was a Sony, price £799 not a cheap
                            laptop. Eleven months later the laptop failed when I needed it most, I
                            was working abroad on a project and I need a laptop immediately to carry
                            out the work I was involved with so I had to buy another laptop. On
                            returning to UK I returned the laptop to PC World Swindon who said they
                            had to sent all failed Sony laptops back to Sony for repair, this
                            happen. After 28 days I was told that the laptop would be replace and
                            that I had lost all the work & records on the laptop. The first
                            replacement laptop specification was agreed, several days later I was
                            told the laptop was out of stock and another laptop was offered, this
                            was at a lower cost than the original and I rejected the selection, we
                            again agreed after several days another laptop at price plus £200 only
                            to be told several days later yet again that also was out of stock and
                            would I accept another lower cost model. Since I now have been with out
                            my laptop for several weeks and have lost all the information on the
                            laptop, I have given up trying, I have reluctantly agree to the proposed
                            specification after being told by your staff that it is of a better
                            specification than the original and basically that's it. I have always
                            purchases Sony equipment because I considered the equipment and the
                            anticipated after service offered to be better than other manufacturers,
                            to say I am disappointed is an understatement, I am so disappointed with
                            the after service and my treatment that I have decided to written to you
                            outlining my case. I look forward to your reply before I colour my
                            attitude towards Sony for the future. When I wrote this I did not have
                            the reference No but I enclose my home address which should allow you to
                            research my case notes and make a suitable response.

                            Sony — Bad customer handling

                            I am sending you this via this forum just because I could not find another place where you accept your consumer complaints. I run a Software business in Trivandrum, Kerala. I am currently in a plan to buy few of your Z series Vaio Laptop for my in-house needs. I had yesterday (20th September 2010) visited your Vaio Showroom at Oberon Mall, Cochin for the purpose, but had a very bitter experience from the representatives.
                            The laptop was in display and it was no where written not to be touched. I happened to see the laptop comes with a very high resolution display, which apparently raised curiosity to see how the web pages load. I opened the browser and hit one of the common sites. The representative all of a sudden raised his voice , hit me and moved away my hands off the laptop. He intimidated me in front of other customers as if I had tried to miss-use something. I felt really bad for I have visited many of your outlets around the world and had many demos even run in my office itself.
                            I am a fan of Sony since years and I always prefer Sony for my business needs. Also, in this age of IT when everybody is equipped with various handheld internet access devices, it doesn’t really matter, especially for a business man like me to get into your outlet to browse internet.
                            I humbly request you to kindly take action against the franchise owner for having deploying people who doesn’t have the basic manners to handle customers.

                              I bought sony ericsson k550i cell on[protected]. After buying it give me some problems, and i ignore them, i think i don't know to operate this k550i. Now the cell give me trouble. When i charge my cell, i observe that its battery getting hot and it show wrong readings. Then i put it in service centre in ludhiana. At first they told me there is software problem, and now they told the its battery is defective and sent to replacement. And you will get your cell on 06 sep. I buy this cell from my pocket money. Now i don't want to that cell. Beware and do not buy this faulty phone!

                                Sir/Madam,
                                I have purchased sony ericsson K310i on 03 oct 2006 with IMEI No. [protected]. After using 2-3 months the set was switched off and when i contact my nearest sony service centre they change the software of my problem. i was also told that this set is not giving the proper battery backup but in this regard they didn't say anything to me. Than after hanging problem arises or when i make a call to other person sometimes the other person voice is not audible for me or restart my set. Than i again my nearest service center and told the above problem. The service center person told me that i will replace your handset on the beginning of the october before the expiry of warranty. When i go to the service center and told him this was the problem in my handset and you commit me that your handset will replaced on the beggining of october they told me now i cannot do anything for you. now my warranty is over on 03 oct 2007 and the service center persons give me the negative response on the last day of warranty period. so you are request to take the matter seriously and replaced my handset as soon as possible.

                                  I bought the combo drive (Sony) Serial No. 1118018 from M/s Microcare, Kharagpur, India Tel: [protected] at the time I bought a PC from them of model compaq Presario SR 11151L. From the begining I have not used the Combo Drive. When I tried to use it for first time after 3 months it was not working. Thereafter I requested M/s Microcare to get it rectified. They removed the Drive (CD writer+DVD Player) and took about 2 months to return it in 2005. But still it was not working properly. As I am in transferable job i could not use my PC regularly and it was lying idle most of the time in last 2 and half years. Now I want to use my PC regularly so I need to rectify the Combo Drive. But when I approached service center of Sony India In Kolkata, India they refused to attend it. I want to know the address of sesvice centre who can rectify the Combo Drive .

                                    i purchased Sony Ericsson K550i, imei #[protected] on 29.09.2007 from RPG Cellucom India Pvt. Ltd., shop # 305, Forum Mall, Elgin Road, Kolkata - 700020, ph # [protected], the phone was packed sealed, but to my utter surprise i found the phone had some specific problems -

                                    1. the reception quality is very poor.
                                    2. call drops are frequent.
                                    3. the ear speaker delivers very bad sound.
                                    4. the phone gets hot very soon effecting the ears too.
                                    5. when am syncronising the phone with the computer with the usb cable, after completing my job, when am removing the usb cable, the phone gets automatic switch off and then on itself.

                                    i took the defective set to the shop, one representative named Arindam ( ph # [protected] ) inspected the problem and found that i was correct, as the set was newly purchased i demanded the shop to change my phone and give me a new one, as i dont have any extra handset and without a phone these days its hard to survive, but they insisted that it should be taken to the service centre, which may take atleast a week or more. so i left my defective phone with them and was compelled to buy a motorola set for standby untill my set is coming from repair. prior i used SE K750i, P1, P990i, but am disheartened this time.

                                    well if i am under warranty and the defective set is brought for complain within two days, am i wrong to ask for a new handset ?

                                    i am a sony fan, but its difficult to take such a harrasment from the company i love most.

                                    kindly look after my matter at the earliest, wich i beg to you.

                                    I purchased a sony ericsson K790i on the 28-feb-2008. but the cell died on the 28-mar-2008. I gave the cell to the sony service center and thay told me that the PCB had to be changed and the mobile issent to the company in chennai. I am completely disapointed by this. Is this the quality of the product that you are offering for a 12000 rupees???? in this case it is far better to get a phone from the Nokia or motorola. thay are offering far better quality in thair products.
                                    Ah i bought K550i on february 2008, the picture quality is not nice, and some of the format is not supporting for the ringtones though it has to be eg. AAC format, ehat shall i do, please help me
                                    I have bought Sony Ericsson Mobile (Model no K550i cyber shot) in Novemberber'07.Initially it had a battery problem as it was getting discharged toatlly within 2 hrs after cahrging fully. Then initially the battery was changed by shopkeeper itself. But then it was confirmrd tha problem was with set & not with battery. Then its software was upgraded in service centre at Nagpur (MS). Then set was kept with service centre in Bilaspur (CG). Threr it has taken more than 15 days. Then new problem arised, the screen is getting totally white like tubelight & nothing can be seen on screen. Even mobile is not getting off from 'off button'. Again I sent mobile to service centre, Bilaspur & I got it repaired. But result is again the same of white screen as problem is still unsolved..
                                    Now i have submitted my mobile for 4th time & already your service centre has taken 3 weeks for giving it back to me.
                                    Now I feel that i have given enough time for company to repair the set and i had faced & even facing a great deal of inconvinience.
                                    It is therefore kindly requested to replace the set & stop the customer from further inconvinience. If replacement is not possible the please oblige me by giving me back my set as it is but at the earliest.

                                    My name is Babit I am from Jallandhar. I purchased K550i on 14 Aug 2007. Due to the problem in the connector I submitted the handset in Salora International Limited (Jallandhar) on[protected] which I recieved on[protected]. But the same day another problem occured while I connected it with net. I again submitted the handset to the same service center on[protected]. In last one month I have called the sony ericsson Delhi office more than 10 times and each time they only give only one answer that you will be reciving the handset in few days. When I ask them for a particular date they arenot in position to give so. Moreover one of the person even talked rudely to me for calling.Even they are not providing me the numbers of their higher officials to communicate.
                                    Sir, it is going to be approximately more than 2 and half months that I havenot recieved the handset. My previous complaint id given by service center was SES08JAL13202 and the new one is SES08JAL13988. And the previous complaint id for the sony ericsson Delhi was SE738-4425 and the new one is SE749-5822.
                                    The persons to whom I spoke are SABORNA, VIVEKANAND, RITESH, RAJ, AMIT, PREETI, and some name I am not able to remember.
                                    It's my humble request to you to see into this matter and help me to get back my handset.

                                    Sony Ericsson / K550i — Rude behaviour and faulty parts of Authorized Service Center

                                    Initially there was a mic problem, the opposite person was not able to here my voice. I contacted Sony Ericsson Service Center(Borivali Branch), they took 12-14 days to get it rectified.

                                    But the same problem started the same day evening (i had attended only one phone call). Again I contacted them, they said again it will take 10-15 days as the pcb needs to be replaced again the earlier was faulty.

                                    After the days span finally I got my cell back, when asked for the delay they told me that your cell was sent to Chennai for rectification hence delay.

                                    After i took my cell to my place it was not getting charged, whole night i kept my cell on charging but morning the battery was NIL, again I contacted them.

                                    The same story, will need to replace the pcb and all. I just was not able to understand why was it going this way, again after 15-20 days they returned my cell but the same problem, it was not getting charged, my younger sister took the cell and was telling the problem to them, but the Engineer Sanjay Patil was rude to her, was saying your battery is dried up bring your charger we will check, so my sister decided to let me only handle it.

                                    Very next day I went up to them, same language they were speaking to me, over that the guy Sanjay was provoking me to hit him was continuously saying "Do you want to hit me" (conversation was in Hindi language), the other guy said we dont have an new battery in stock will replace in three days, giving me a standby battery said use this till replacement, at the same time I kept the cell for charging but the story continued.. same battery was not getting charged. At that time also that Sanjay Patil was showing off his stupidity to me saying "Complain where ever you want to we don’t care." He never stopped, he went on and on.

                                    One more thing would like to mention on my previous visit to the service center a lady was also very furious on that Sanjay she was also yelling on him saying what non-sense you talk, I have a video of that senerio.

                                    As mention in (C.jpg) letter from Spectramind Marketing Pvt. Ltd., I cannot even re-submit my CLAIM FORM.

                                    Dear Sir/ Madam,

                                    This is Soumik Majumder having the prepaid number [protected]. From the last couple of months I am facing a ridiculous problem regarding the connection that is frequently my prepaid balance is getting deducted and after deduction i am receiving a message that for some bsnl service the balance has been deducted and if i want to deact the service, i have to dial some number. Even today, (03/12/2010) when I recharged my phone with Rs. 124, which gives me 1month validity along with a balance of Rs. 50 (approx), 30 rupees has been deducted on that very moment on the basis of some Bsnl alerts and the alert message came from the number: 51234030. I dialed the customer care number and some cust care officer Mr. Joydeep Basu received the call (time - 9;08 am). Now he listened to the complain and provided me a docket number ie, 6534658. But when I asked for the time span of getting it solved, he could not say anything. Even when I asked for my deducted balance, then also he could not say anything. I asked him for any BSNL CUST CARE email id where I can mail my complain but alas!! the same result (don't know sir). Now my point is, even where I never asked for any Bsnl Service, why it has been activated on my phone and its the money (whatever the amount is) which has to earn. So I cant allow it to flow for some 'BSNL ALERTS'. So please give my balance back and stop those unwanted services or else I have to go to the appropriate authority.
