I was very happy to purchase the Sony MHC-V71D system, however to my disappointment the system stopped working within 2 years of purchase. I handle my equipment very carefully as I am a music lover and I have various other brands with me. Unfortunately out of all my brands, Sony has let me down. I don't play the system for long hours and don't man-handle it as I am very particular about my music systems. The engineer has visited my home and says it could be the power supply that has malfunctioned. I spent 40000 for this music system and I don't expect it's components to give way so soon after the purchase. Not a very happy customer considering a brand like SONY. Your service center technician says it would cost Rs 9260 for the motherboard to be replaced. That is a big amount for me to pay.
I would like to escalate this issue to your higher ups and quality control Department. Could you please help me with this issue or I would be forced to have consumer grievance intervention.
